Having not biked more than 10 miles at a time for the last year or run since the end of January I thought it would be best to break myself in gently.

Autocycles and the like are cool, I've spent quite a while looking into them. There was an article by some fella who bought an engine kit and fitted it to an MTB. He he described the MSVA approval process and how he got his bike through. IIRC the only pick-ups he got was to provide number plate illumination and make the ends of his brake levers less likely to injure.
Truth was it sounded like a bit of a ball ache as No 6 has rightly pointed out. The need for MSVA approval makes autocycles in general nowhere near as appealing as on the continent or the US.

3) does this FOLD? saw you guys talking about couplers, so assuming it somehow comes apart, that would be sweet. didn't actually notice the downtube 'coupler' until it was mentioned, thought it was maybe a anti-bar crash into top tube thing in the wrong place! but maybe not ;)

The bars are indeed 3t Xida Teams and Jersey is right, they are silly.
The rims are stripped and re-anodised IRD Cadence Aeros, it would be alot cheaper to use Deep Vs or the like but that's no fun.
Yep, the couplers are pretty light. Much of the added weight was offset by getting the frame TIG'd instead of brazed.

who did the couplers job, and how much wa it at the end, all in?

Frame was built with the couplers by the guys at Enigma from Columbus Spirit.
They charge £350 for the couplers as part of new build. Not sure if they do retrofit, give them a bell.

My dull arse life of working in a shit job and sitting with my wife watching shite telly has received a welcome lift tonight.

BringMeMyFix has clearly had a great time on drugs in the past and come out of it well. I have read about his favourite cocktail of drugs a good few times on here and it seems he's pretty enamoured with his experiences.

Fair-do's says I. I love to drink, to talk about drinking and to think about the booze. Given the (in)appropriate reason I'd probably drink myself to death. What I hope I never do is regard peoples' fear/dislike of boozing and the clear evidence of its damage as a lack of education or weakness in those affected.

Bound to be a reasonable argument to blow that out of the water. Night night.
