I bought a black Surly Cross-Check (64cm) from SpaCycles a few months ago on an impulse thinking it would be the right size for me (6'3'') but my upper body is proportionally quite short and the reach is too long for me. I'm better off on a 60cm frame/fork.
So, I'm selling this for £400 (ONO): a little less than I bought it for (£500 RRP/ £450 Spacycles 'deal'). This is partly because it includes a Cane Creek 40 Series EC34 1 1/8" Headset (worth £36).
Bike is new. I built it up, test rode it about 500metres, then realised it was way too big for me. I now know I need to study up frame geometry.
The steerer fork is uncut.
Any questions let me know.

I know this is on the wrong forum but I thought that it would be ok, given that unicycles are sortof fixed gear...
Been really wanting to get a hold of a unicycle for a while now. There are only 20'' ones (too small) on ebay (although there is a 36'' one on there at the moment...a big too big...and too expensive for now: I'm a beginner).
Does anyone have a old one lying around they want to get rid of, or know where I can get a used one? Or maybe I can borrow one for a few months?!
I'm looking for something 24'' and up, with a long seatpost (I'm 6'2'' or so)...
I live in Oxford, but travel to London often....
any suggestions, offers, thoughts appreciated.
thanks

Hey,
looking for a tall stem with handlebars (or just the stem) for a racing frame I'm putting together. Ideally I'm looking for a stem that is something like the Nitto Technomic but without too much reach (since the frame is already enormous: 25.5'' !). Ideally the handlebars would be pretty narrow (40-42) and drop down, although I would consider anything else (moustache, arc, noodle!) with a good stem,
thanks

(this is both a Wanted: Cog request, and a technical question)
Hey,
I'm looking for a 20T freewheel cog or bigger (21T, 22T), but I think 20T would be the biggest cog I could fit on without changing the chain. At the moment I'm running a 52T on the front and 18T on the back; I want to put a 20T on the freewheel side of my back wheel to play polo (until I get another bike and change the front cog).I think that a 22T is probably too big a difference from an 18T to be able to run both on the same chain? Does anyone know anything about this?
thanks

@dracula: 62cm is slightly smaller than the ideal 64-66cm i'm on the look out for.

@Betty Swollocks: that's the sorta thing. how much you looking for and does it take 700c wheels or smaller ones?I've got my eyes on a 25.5 at the moment, so fingers crossed that I manage to seal the deal on that one. then i can stop bothering you guys with large frame inquiries.

Hey,
I'm close to sealing a deal on a raleigh banana 25'' frame+fork
from the photos it is in really good condition but I've no idea how much it's worth and therefore what I should offer as a final price.I've tried looking at completed listings on ebay but couldn't find any.
I know that 25'' frames go for a little more, as they're harder to findAny suggestions?
thanks

Definitely after a 25'' frame or bike, as I double checked size of a bike I have at home.
They seem to be pretty rare; I've spend a while on ebay having a look and only a few things in decent condition have come up.
I've posted an message on the CTC forum also.
There's no special site for XXXLarge bikes is there?!
Hey people - I'm looking for a large touring bike as my current bike has some long term unsolvable problems and I want to treat myself!
I'm 6'2'' so looking for something at least 61-62cm can probably go up to 63cm. I like to ride quite upright - hence looking for touring style (and I want a rear pannier rack) but would be happy with non tourer (as long as it has rear rack!).
Hoping to spend under £500...
I'm based near Seven Sisters (N17) but work in town near Kings X
Many thanks!
