LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
Sorry, I meant "archive.org is on it apparently". Edited.
The Internet Archive lost their legal case and subsequent appeal against Hachette and other US publishers in the New York courts last month, over their "national emergency library" initiative in 2020 (effectively digital piracy of commercial works still in print), and they are going to be liable for considerable costs as a result of that. They decided not to pursue the appeal to the Supreme Court because they knew they would lose there. They fucked up with that one. So I wouldn't rely on them at the moment for any long term preservation / archival requirements.

FWIW Hop Kingdom is near Tower Bridge and that is where most "new new wave" (i.e. they aren't on this forum) fixed gear riders tend to hang out these days. The bar is a good spot with decent people running it and the workshop in the back, and they generally turn a blind eye to dumb shit like sprints down Druid Street right in front of the place.

LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
Discord is good. I'm part of a radio station / music sharing community there (Love Will Save The Day FM) and it works quite well.
The division of channels on Discord isn't quite the same as a forum, but it is a better alternative than WhatsApp or Telegram groups which are very siloed.
I've joined the LFGSS one, thanks to whoever set it up.
Definitely up for a ride and party at the end. Perhaps we can bring a coffin to the door of the DCMS offices.

Little update. I was able to get three of the four out with an allen key and a long metal cylinder rod I have, my old friend Archimedes never fails to help. The bolts did not like being taken out of the expanding casings but they came eventually.
However, and I only remember this now from when the neighbour had a go with the drill - the hex slot on the fourth one is rounded out a bit. Using a long crowbar I have managed to pry the entire thing up out of the ground about an inch maybe. But it is not coming out any further than where it is now.
Next I am going to put a metal cutting blade on the reciprocating saw that I have and go through the bolt and casing that I can see between the anchor and the ground. If I lose a finger or an eye I'll invoice LFGSS.

Underneath the black putty, the anchor bolts are flush with the anchor. No way am I getting an angle grinder in there?
I did not hammer a ball bearing into the hex slot at the top of each bolt though. In the forward thinking I might have to dig this up at some point in the future.
Do you think an SDS drill would be able to get them out, even though they've expanded their casings into the concrete?

I have one of these Squire ground achors drilled into the concrete near my front door.
https://www.squirelocks.co.uk/shop/motolok/ground-anchor.htmlWe are getting kicked out of our house in January by the landlord. I want to take this with me.
Does anyone have any tips on removing it from the concrete? Is it even possible?
@itsbruce what is your suggested alternative
I am on a very productive and community driven and focused Discord server. For a small radio station. It's great. The UX is different to a forum, yes, but it's fine - it's the links and the community participation that's the constant that keeps the vibe alive.
I recall people having meltdowns about the transition to microcosm and then it was all fine. If we have to go to Discord it'll be fine.
