Eyeballed the old spindle, and one side is definitely longer than the other, so 5mm offset it is. The old bb is weird; no maker markings on it, and the bearings are pressed onto the spindle itself. The lockings are shagged, also. So no chance to re-use any of that.

First stumbling block is the bottom bracket, for Gipiemme Cranks (although this will probably be replace by Nuovo Record at some point). Need an Italian Threaded 115mm BB - what options do I have? Seems like options for square taper BBs are disappearing, especially for Italian threaded.
