One in, one out, so this needs to go. Frame is covered in what I call ‘spider rust’ - surface rust under the lacquer. It doesn’t affect the frame at all and personally I love the look of it.

It might look like a pub bike, there are some good parts; stem and wheelset in particular.

Best cycling bag I've ever used - a million pockets, fully waterproof, ventilated back, comfy straps, laptop sleeve - but now I'm old and use panniers.

Owned for a few years but in very good condition. Bit of wear on the rolltop but still fully waterproof. Google will tell you more if you want to know.

I’m sure you all know how good Carradice are. Made in England since 1932, these ones specifically by Andrea and Sue (their names are written inside!).

I used these bags for my 3 month Trans-America trip in 2014 so they’ve seen some miles, but these are built to last a lifetime. There are a few scuffs but all the stitching is in amazing condition, I’ve even got some spare clips to attach to the racks.

T-Level Infinity Rolltop Bag £30 SOLD
Admittedly, this bag is probably beyond it's best. I've had it for 5 years and used it almost every day in every weather, but it's definitely still usable.

Other than the normal wear and tear there are a few other bits I should mention (I've tried to show them in photos) - the reflective strips on the side have been re-glued down, some of the mesh pockets have worn through and there's the odd fraying here and there. Unfortunately, both the side zips have started 'to go'. It can take a couple of attempts to zip them up. I've been happily using it like this for a year, just opening the rolltop. The zips could potentially be replaced if you found the right person.

Brand New 700c 36h Touring Wheelset - £150 (RRP £175)

Hubs: Shimano LX (135mm OLN)
Rims: Exal LX17 (accept tyres from 25-40mm)
Spokes: Double butted throughout except on the driveside rear where plain gauge are utilised for strength.

Brand spanking new. Never used, never fitted, never needed. Just stored under the sofa since I had them built by the touring specialist Spa Cycles.

LX hubs are recommended over Deore and XT hubs for touring because of their strength and durability. The Exal LX17 rims are lighter than the very heavy duty Rigida Sputnik rims, but more than adequate for fully loaded summer tour.

Spare spokes also included.

There's about 5.5cm of steerer above the head tube. Comes with the shim to use with a a-head stem.
