I gave up bike polo for BMX but now have to get rid of it! (moving)

Hey All,

I'm emigrating! So if you need a BMX this is the one!

Skavenger frame (one year old used only in parks, scratched from being on the back of my boat but straight and happy), tree cranks, Odyssey pedals, brake and lever, Bicycle union stem, 20.5", Great tyres! (premium folding front, united rear). Terrible one bars, stole front wheel (the brand...) premium rear wheel.

I also have a spare Alone frame (same size, dull silver) i'll throw in, and some tree bars and the original rear wheel which probably need trued if i remember right, i'll dig it out anyway.

£180, no haggling but if you pick it up from LMNH old street tomorrow you can have it for £170!

We're selling all our bits at the jumble next week too.

Beat up saddle FREE to a good home (it a Madison breeze black)
Old fucked polo frame, totally bent with a fork stuck in the front end with a bent steerer FREE (i can't imagine why you would want this...but if you do you would need to angle grid the fork off and put on a new one and straighten the frame. it is not currently rideable)

I had a great time being involved in this and for me one of the best moments was sitting down with everyone on the court build day to a cup of tea and realising how cool it is that we can do this kind of stuff together!

Another top moment was going to Fuchsia's to collect the food and meeting a band of merry washer-uppers who had gone there after the court build to help lighten her load a bit. I love the way this community can really take care of each other. It's why i love bike polo.

Well done to everyone who played their hearts out all weekend!

Well done Sophie for MVP. She pretty much bossed the shit out of the tournament on and off court, a constant force for positivity and action! My hero.

Thanks Hayden hayden hayden hayden woooood, man of the match, for consistently helping to do anything ever all the time before even asked and even after beering himself.

Massive love to Fuchsia for stepping up to become "Tastiest Player" and finding the gourmet vegan chef within. Polo needs people like you to approach these tournaments with commitment, enthusiasm and the epic can-do attitude you brought to it!

Whatever was in the rule you gave us john. It was good I though. I liked the side. Agree about the hooking rule re: cleaner games. They were also more fun to watch and play, lots of ball play no jousting! :)
