I'm selling my old 60's raleigh ss/fixed bike due to travelling in the new year. I've spent quite a bit of time (and money) putting this together. Purely down to me not exactly knowing what I wanted out of it but had it resprayed over a year ago at Witcomb cycles and then within the past six months have had Paul down at kiwi Cycles put it together with pretty much all new parts apart from the brakes, pedals and seat.
Would love to see it go to a good home. I know it's not the best time of year to sell but as stated selling due to leaving the country to go travelling and would much rather sell it than sit gathering dust. I'm looking for £250 ono for it. I'll chuck in a cateye back light and clip on back mudguard too!
If interested you can email me and I'll give you all the relevant details. -

thanks smallbrownbike for your generous offer. you certainly could point me in the right direction with all your years of bike knowledge. i'm sure i could stretch to a bit more than just a few beers as it could be more than a five min job. Also, whilst I'm writing this does anyone know where i could possibly get me chrome stem buffed up to look a bit more sparkly?
thanks again - it's great to know people are so friendly and willing to help the novices!

I was wondering whether anyone knew of any bike courses out there. would be nice if they were in east london?
I'm currently in the process of getting my bike turned into SS/fixed and would love to know how to tinker around and stop wasting money on taking it into a bike shop. Any help much appreciated.
both. it's got a flip-flop hub at back
