http://www.skibig3.com/banff-lake-louise/banff-lake-louise-shopping/banff-lake-louise-season-passes get it today though or it goes up by about £300. no pressure or anything..
Summer jobs are easier to get 'cause they view Winter as their off-season. Summer is much busier there apparently.

you sorted a work permit / work?
how much is it costing you to get out there?
BUNAC give you a work permit, if you are under thirty. But there is loads of under the counter work etc. It cost £850 for a lift pass (early bird ends today) for nearly 8 months boarding if you do the full season, and flight are about £450.
You thought about doing a long stay? no work, just boarding, but for three months or something

good call.
Right in terms of lists (we love lists):
· Direct Action Group – demos, protest, rides, stickers, public awareness, promoting cause
1)· *PR/ Design/Comms *- T-shirts, events, armbands, rides, stickers, website, forum, wiki...
1)· Media/Film – producing film
1)· Lobbying - pushing policy, MPs, govt
1)· Data/Enforcement/Legal – location of collision spots, data collected at collision - collate and present to show trends and use as communication tool. Legal hurdles/solutions - enforcing new restrictions/requirements.
1)Helpful / not helpful?
Sorry I missed last night, 6 was too early for me. hope it went well. Do we just add our names to the group we want to be a part of?

I think it's kind of irrelevant if you find 80 miles a piece of piss. That's probably cause you cycle everyday and have a good level of fitness. Some runners find marathons a piece of piss I suppose, cause they run everyday etc. not sure though….
I was looking at Eddie izzard doing that marathon thing he did and wondered what the equivalent is for a bike

I somewhat doubt that would make any difference as cyclists sometime unbeknowning to them of the danger, still undertake HGV/or have no idea about the amount of blind spot that HGV have.
OK cool, butif the locations in question are known accident 'blackspots' and lack of political will means that nothing is being done, surely that would help?
-
if anyone can give me a list of the locations of the fatalities I can check a few online databases as to whether TfL have any plans for the junctions if they were on red routes, or if the boroughs have any plans if they happened on borough roads. TfL are know for being really slow when it comes to delivering cycle schemes on red routes so pressure from that side might help...?
