Hi, I haven't been around here for a decade but am back in London for a few days and am have a clear out.

Here's a set of 8sp Dura Ace rims laced to Wolber XT Profil rims. They fit a 10speed Shimano cassette, which is what I did for a while.

Are they true? Ish. They're ok but could do with a little tune up.

The plan is to leave the late night on the 30th from Harwich and arrive the Hook of Holland early in the morning and then ride to Amsterdam. I've been looking around for a route for a decent and reasonably direct route but can't seem to get one. Has anyone got one? and any other advice?

My charger had started making a buzzing and clicking noise then switches itself off + the battery only lasts 12 minutes.

A friend of mine has just come over mine to dismantle his fixed and transfer it all over to a new frame. Unfortunately he forgot to bring his BB tool, so we have all the bits off except the BB.

We are currently in Camberwell, just off church road.
We were wondering if there was anybody near by who would kindly lend us a Miche BB tool for 20 mins...?

Who's got one? I have a British one so would like to swap if possible.

I'm trying to build some wheels. It's my first time but i've got to start somewhere.

I'm getting a set of Miche hubs and Mavic CXP33 rims. I'm getting them from ribble as they are the cheapest place that I have found.

I have been trying to use spocalc but their only measurement for the hubs is the rear (so I presume that they are the same front and back). I'm planing on a 3 cross pattern and using the ACI Alpina S/S DB Spokes also from Ribble. Spocalc says that I should be using 291.2 and 289.3 spokes. Is it alright to use 290 spokes all round? There is a lot of stuff on the net and there is a lot of different advice coming from all over the place.

Can someone help?
