Corny and Delphina, nice riding home with you.. after we split I decided to put a few extra miles in, went up Herne Hill way and over Dulwich. Very very nice, even when the rain got a bit oily.
My chopped risers are soooooo nice to roll with. I'm lovin' it even more.
Nice riding with you too man :)
See you guys maybe next Wednesday! -
yep totally down with that! And will probably be in Paris in august anyway. There're a lot of cool spots for drinking/riding/hanging out in Paris, :)
We could also do the euroline bus alternative..? 8hours in a bus, but it's very cheap, also more fun when you are a group of people who know each other. :) -

willski Before we head too far in dog scatology, here's a follow-on question. When did you take your cycling proficiency test?
Erm, I think I was 9? But I failed... I passed the written exam, but once I was on the road I didn't stop at the red light because I wanted to go faster and nearly got hit by a car. :(
Oh... I guess I REALLY haven't changed... :(It was called a "public danger" by alot of people after that...

My "Pac" band has the X strap and works great for working a a messenger and having heavy shit in your back all day, the backpacks are less convenient as you have to take the darn completely off your back to get something out. But then again pac bags are very expensive. The Archie bags have the X-strap also are as practical :), but I have no patience in that respect... :$

oddsock
delphina
oddsock delphina - it was your dad that reminded me of calvin and hobbes!
but calvin's dad is way cool - if i ever have a kid then he's going to be my role model..
My dad IS way cool :D he's the one who got me into biking! :D Aw bless him!!
sorry - I didn't mean to imply your dad isn't cool :)
the 'but' was a connective rather than a contrastive, if that makes any sense.
I was just aproving your comment, hehe ^^ I love those cartoons :D -

Hehe
Wolfenger I remember my first time. It was a warm summers eve. I remember shouting to whoever it was holding on at the back "you can let go now". I remember hearing a faint "I let go ages ago" to which I promptly fell off whilst trying to see where they were! Got back on and started riding straight away and haven't looked back really. Good thread to start Delphina.
Hehe ^^ thank you! Like your story, hehe. :)
