I am converting and old Dutch bike to fixed. I build new rear wheel and i need to change the old Shimano Nexus Chainring.
I only managed to find a picture in the following link, I have never seen something similar before?

My question, is there a separate Nexus chainring or is fixed in the crank?
where can I buy a Nexus chainring, if so...? -

My Miche Primato Advanced crankset has bottomed out on the bottom bracket. I have a Dolan Seta track frame with SKF JIS 107 bottom bracket, as per (JIS) recommendation of the manufacturer. It also makes a creaking noise on every pedal stroke.
I want to say that when tighten the bottom bracket bolts the crank arms go so deap on the bottom bracket axle that they get in contact with the bottom bracket cups.
Anyone experience something similar? Shall I go for an 110mm bottom bracket?
I was also thinking to go for a Shimano BB-UN55? -

Can I remove the rear dropout spacers from and old steel frame with horizontal dropouts?
They look like this but cheaper:http://farm3.staticflickr.com/2005/2403576831_7dedc744a0.jpg
I need to pull the wheel axle to the back end of the rear dropouts to gain some space for bigger volume tyres.
Do we really need these spacers? -

I need a new frame for my hand build OpenPro/Sapin/Token wheels and full carbon peripherals. I ride everyday 30 miles to work and longer 50-60 miles on weekends with every weather condition. At work the bike is parked in a secure garage and at home in the corner of my living room next to my sofa!!
Shall I go for the Dolan FXE alu frame or raise the standards to Dolan Seta carbon frame. My concerns are two, reliability and comfort.
Reliability: Will the Seta carbon frame cope with the everyday race to work and the bad weather elements or the FXE will be more durable?
Comfort: Will the Seta be more comfortable that the FXE in absorbing road buzz? -

I can see pictures with the seatstay bridge is about 1cm from tyre with the rear wheel axle relevantly forward in the dropouts. If the rear wheel axle is moved backwards (chain cut with one link longer) then it should give more space for bigger tyres, check pictures link below:

It seems this is the case! 5/32, 30mm inner diameter and 37mm outside diameter. In total 16 ball bearings.
