I still lurk but never post (only occasionally in the house music thread). It went a bit wrong for me when the functionality was added where you could click to 'rep' peoples posts thus bringing a whole new culture in. Even when it was removed people would say 'repped'. Then it becomes/became like internet point scoring. Culture still exists.
