Hi, I am selling a 1" Nitto pearl stem, 90mm, with 26.0 clamp. Used but in good nick.

Ok, so my old bike has been stripped down so I can get a new frame, and a few bits have to go as they are the wrong size.
All bits can be seen here on the bike: http://velospace.org/node/8479
I will do a deal if people want to buy multiple parts.
1) Chrome 1" threaded front forks (drilled for brake) + Shimano STX headset - 6 months old - very good condition. £25 ono for both
2) Push silver 26.4mm seatpost - 1 month old, scratched on section that has been in seat tube, otherwise unmarked. £5
3) Nitto Dynamic8 90mm 1" quill stem, 26.0mm clamp - 6 months old, small mark on underside of clamp, staining where in has been down headtube, visible areas in good condition. £10.
4) Carlton 1960's lugged steel frame, road geometry, 55cm centre BB to top of seatpost. BB treads worn but useable, attempted white lug lining (not great to be honest!). Otherwise tubes undented/not rusted. This is being sold as beater/pub/polo frame. £35 ono
All parts are in SE london Peckham Rye/East Dulwich/Camberwell area. All above parts are compatable as seen in pictures.

Edit - Sorry it's a Nitto Dynamic8 stem NOT Pearl as listed before

Ideally I'd like all lug work (BB/headtube etc.) a different colour, +/- lug lining as well. Can you paint/spray conventional paint over powder coating or does it not work? Am I right in thinking that Armourtex are the guys to go with for powdercoating? Can anyone recomend a good conventional spraypainter as well?
Thanks.

Whilst bored the other day I tried to pick out the lug work on my Carlton with white enamel paint, the result is, erm, a little shite. Since the frame needs a respray soonish anyway has anyone got any advice? Can detailed lug work be powdercoated a different colour from the tubes, or is spraying the only way forward to get a good finish with fine detail??
If you see a red Carlton in SE London that looks like someone has attacked it with Tipex please don't laugh and point. This is what I need to paint (pre DIY painting madness): http://velospace.org/node/8479 (see thumbnails for closeup)

weren't they a little horrified when you took a bike in for "for new pedals/clips/straps" in the first place? it's hardly the most arduous or complex of tasks.
I went in with my bike to buy them, not to have them fitted! It was a struggle, but I managed in the end. ;-) Having said that I did once snap a drop forged spanner (and nearly my fingers) trying to unscrew an SPD pedal off the wrong way...........

Stopped once for riding with no lights on the pavement years ago, then a few weeks ago running a red on Vauxhall bridge road. No fines; however I think making a run for it would be a good way of getting one though!
In answer to the 1st post, I have CRB (criminal record bureau) checks and fines/cautions/etc don't show up, neither do "spent convictions." Basically you would have to do something pretty bad with your bike to get a criminal record, like beat someone to death with the seat post.

Whoah, didn't realise this would cause such a debate. But at that price made in China..... WTF, cheeky! Maybe its flow back business class, one item per seat?
Thanks for the info, if I ever got anything I could only stretch to one or two items anyway, never a whole set . Having said that, the silk scark would be ideal at top tube protector.............;-)
