Boooo! My bike is stolen :( Was up in Manchester for the day and off its gone.
Was locked up in the Didsbury (Outside the library about 2:45 Saturday) area for about 10 mins while I nipped into a shop.
I just completed Lands End to John o Groats on it so it has a special place for me. (Blog)Specialized Tricross - Black - 54cm
Frame has black reflective tape all over it, including over the word Tricross
Black Brooks saddle - Has a scuff on the top near the nose (from changing tyres and forgetting to cover it)
Black mudguards and silver pannier rack (Which has 4 black spokes taped to the underneath)
Has a pair of slightly rattly flat pedals on and the middle gears (rear cassette) are skipping.
Wheels are shod with Schlam Marathon's (25mm (might be 28) pro at the back, 23mm (might be 25) standard on the front)
Also has a cheap wired Trek speedo attached, or did!http://roblejog.robmillington.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/20110325-093256.jpg

Thanks

Holdsworth Equipe 1970s
Seat Tube (ctt): 50cm
Top Tube (ctc): 53cm
Rear dropout width: 120mm
Seatpost size: 26.4mm (Apparently)
Frame Number: 41768Holdworth built a variety of frames in their Team colours in the 70s and this is one of their more budget frames. It seems to be in sound condition though the paint has seen better days. I read that the forks are 531 but the frame is plain gage.
Comes with headset, bottom bracket (with bolts) & seatpost bolt. The bottom bracket will need replacing or greasing up, it turns but its a bit clunky.
I bought this off ebay some time ago to build up but it was wrongly sized and turns out would be too small for me. Its been sat under my desk for 6 months because I’m lazy! :)
Pics in 5 mins - Orange & blue.

I've been riding this over winter but have now found another bike slightly better suited to my size (its a bit large for me).
Sad to see it go as its a really great looking bike and rides well.
Really nice night blue with cream coloured decals, headtube and seatpost.Sizes:
seattube 54 cm c-t
toptube 53 cm c-c
Frame: Hardlite FM2
front and rear mech: Shimano Golden Arrow
breakset: Shimano Golden Arrow (NOS but recently fitted as someone stole the other pair - why I dunno)
Shifters downtube: Shimano Golden Arrow
Crankset: Shimano 600
Pedals: Shimano 105 (Modern'ish sorry but have taken the SPDs with me to another bike)
Wheelset: Rims: FIR, hubs Shimano
The condition of the bike is very good.
Chrome and painting: Very good condition, only hardly signs of use but some of the stickers are coming away. Its an old bike so this is to be expected.Price £230 (SOLD) picked up London (Old St or Stoke Newington).
Will look into delivery at cost but currently don't have a box?Larger images http://www.flickr.com/photos/untitledlab/5726954433/

Cheers fella. Think I'll give the streamliner a go, its got some additional support at the rear that'll help it swinging about and its also a little further back which will help my heel clip. Hopefully that bit will come off :)
They have em here.

HI guys,
Sorry to open up an old thread but I'm looking into getting a Streamliner (now available in the UK again) for LeJog attempt this summer.
I was wondering about the image below, I currently have a rack (that fits to an extent using the mudguard eyelets and brake mount at the top) and the only problem I have with it really is the bits at the bottom that stick out (my rack and the axiom have the same thing). Well they rub on the panniers I have (ort rollers). The rubbing has caused a hole. Obvisouly don't want to buy another rack and have the same thing. What are those bits for? Strapping down?

Got these 700cc wheels from hilarystone a few months back, now surplus to requirements. £30
"NONAME SMALL FLANGE 36H QR hubs on NO NAME CLINCHER RIMS – these look like Mavic MA2s but don’t have any decals, 6spd SHIMANO 14-24T freewheel rims almost unused"
27" rear wheel. Nothing special. Weinmann rim, mallaerd 36h hub, shimano QR skewer. £5
Mudguards for 27" wheels. Champagne colour. The front mudguard was damaged and has been cut off to finish under the front break. Keeps your feet dry though thats the main thing (for me). The rear one has a rusty metal prong thing, the other 3 are ok though. £5
Pickup from Stoke Newington please.
Cheers,

Spanners on order :) -
Hi all,
I just got a nice new (2nd hand) bike, but its come with a front wheel that has some clicking which is a bit of a shame. Just wondering how to fix it, I've never done anything with hubs before, but presume its the bearings or something?

Raleigh Clubman - 57cm. In need of some TLC. £100
Based in Stoke Newington, come and get it. Can drop off in the car for a couple of extra quid if your close.I got this bike a month or so ago, turns out its a touch big for me. It was advertised as the 54cm version, which its not :)
I presume its a Clubman, the stickers have come off and someone has hand painted the text on, so its no 100% deal. But saying that, I had a look for the original pictures, the paintwork looks the same and it has all the same bits that the original had so it makes sense that its the Clubman. The hand painting looks a bit naff, so could do with a repaint to restore it nicely (or just remove the handpaint!). If anyone is interested the frame number is W1 500582. Maybe it will help you track down any additional information.
Sadly, while I had it, the front wheel has been robbed! Bah!
The pictures show it with a 700cc front wheel, but its not included as its off my other bike.. Just popped it on so you can see the proportions. For the record the brakes seem to reach just fine to 700cc rims. (It takes 27" wheels originally)While it had its front wheel, it all worked fine (could do with a new chain, current one is a bit rusty / squeaky). Gears shifted smoothly and the brakes were fine. Bottom bracket was spinning smoothly, as was the headset.
I did start to install some safety style levers, but to be honest, now I've realised its the incorrect size I've given up on it. It'll come with the original Weinmann Levers if you don't fancy the other ones. You'll notice the bar tape is gone on one side, again was just part of the process, needs replacing, its almost pink :)
Comes with the original mud guards, but as far as I can see the front of the front mudguard has been removed... Still attached fine though and will keep your feet dry which is the main thing. So yeah, a new wheel and 10 minutes TLC on the brakes and you've got yourself a half decent ride.
-- Tech Specs --
Reynolds 531 frame, with nice lugs, measuring 57cm from center of BB to top of top tube & 57cm top tube (centre to centre)
Has braze-ons for gear cable (on chainstay), cable guide on top of BB, cable guides on side top tube, F&R mudguard eyes.
Saddle: Brown suede, padded, vinyl base.
Brakes: Raleigh Weinmann 610 alloy center pull. I have the original Weinmann levers which I'll include, and also the installed (as photographed) safety pull versions.
Age: 1980s
Gears: All Suntour stuff. Not sure about the Cranks, no names on it but says K6 Made in France.
A picture of the catalogue (I think)... Found it online somewhere...
This is a picture of another Clubman that sold on the forum not too long ago. Really nice bike when its all sorted
Any questions etc feel free.
Rob
I have a mate with a Raleigh cyclocross with cantos and a streamlined. Seems to be ok but I'll get some snaps ASAP for your viewing pleasure.
