I've done a few Jed's Peds and they've (nearly all...) turned out great. The Blue Breaker is cheap, easy to build and gives a nice range of sounds.

me too! Eric Haugen is great. I also really like David Hamburger over at Fretboard Confidential He's a bit niche, focussing on finger style blues, but his theory stuff is really useful
