Very sorry that some of you got the cold shoulder or just plain bad service. I treat all negative comments above as inexcusable situations.
Service is of the up most importance to the way I want Tokyo Fixed run and if some people aren't getting it or if people are getting given wrong info then thing will change!

Part time mechanic needed
Hi All,
We are desperate for a part time mechanic. One of our full time mechanics is going on holiday on Thurs & we need a fill in for two weeks & then when our mechanic is back we can provide part time work.
We need someone with prior mechanic experience, knowledge on how to use workshop tools such as facing / threading tools, wheel building skills, great knowledge & experience building road & track bikes, good problem solving skills. Good knowledge of parts, sales skills & prior relationship with the shop will also be taken into account.
We are not willing to compromise on any of the above. Pay is £8 / hr.
Please apply via e-mail to info@tokyofixedgear.com . Subject "Mechanic".
Cheers! -

Hi guys,
I'm from Montreal and I will pass the next week-end in London... I will not have lot of time to go in a lot of bike shops but I ask you to point me the best one for you... ( downtown or close )
I'm not looking for the shop with the perfect collection of every 2010 pure velodrome stuff, but more a cool shop playing with track frames or fixies, polo friendly, and cool staff...
Thanks in advance
VictorVisit us! There's Bike Fix, Velorution & Condor in the area also. Some of the best shops in London & all very different. Also I will get our mechanic Greg to carry you round the shop so you can rest you weary travellers legs.

don't like the bike at all...but did you realize there is no shifting cable to front and rear derailer...the gears are shifted through some kind of electronic-device-remote-control- system... but if i remember correctly it didn't worked that well esp on rainy days ;-)
but still impressiveYe, there's a NOS group on ebay now. I heard they shift when you go over bumps. Makes me want the group even more. My Alan's been needing one of those groups for a while now.
A bit of cross porn. -
we looked into doing the Bruiser at TFG but the dealer margins are skinny & it looked like it might have to retail close to £400 which is a fair bit for this frame. The only people I'v talked to who really really want one over whats currently availabe in the UK are customers who need the brake mount. We still might get one or two in though.

We will releasing a Tokyo Fixed branded frame before Christmas which is a bit porteur / pathracer like. It will have Columbus Thron tubing and a mix of fillet brazing and lugs, also a really nice fork crown. It will have a really good looking fork crown also and all the braze ons for front and rear rack + mud guards. Hopefully it will be under £500.
Also the Singular Peregrine could work really well http://www.tokyofixedgear.com/shopexd.asp?id=3006&bc=no
