On a massive clear out mission and this has to go. The frame was found in a skip and built up for the sole purpose of going to the pub on, as you can imagine this aim has meant that the parts are 2nd rate and the bike is a bit of a joke.
The spec -
ProBike frame - size - 56cm
Wheelset - fixed with go faster white rims I forget where they were from.. I think the back rim has a dent in it - I can't remember though
Front brake - an actual joke, it rarely works. For sentimental reasons both the saddle and horn are NOT included in this giveaway.
I have no idea why someone would want this bike but it's free so don't give me any grief just come and take it off my hands!!
PM to arrange pick up from Dalston.
Ps. I'm feeling generous so will even fix the rear puncture before you pick it up.

Hello! About the above the bikes, to me heck although I'm gutted the main thing is to get our friends bikes back they may not be all swish and fancy like to some of you kids out there with Colnago masters but they were their bikes which I persuaded them to leave in our house. I am feeling proper guilty right now :( Any any any anything thing that you come across please do let us know ...

Utterly disappointed that any one can watch some one steal a bike, weigh up their own safety and not even have it cross their mind that they can JUST CALL THE POLICE.
It doesn't matter what the bike was, to that person it very well may be their own mode of transport and at the end of the day to absolve your conscience like that is absurd. I've spent the whole Sunday staring in the face of people who are obviously hawking stolen bikes. Even if they had been stood there holding my own bike, a bike that needless to say holds sentimental value, I would know better than to even approach these people. But one phone call to the police, what does that cost you? A bit of money, a bit of your time and a piece of knowledge that one day if this unfortunate set of circumstances were to occur to you that perhaps a fellow cyclist might also try and prevent this and not just enjoy the voyeurism, warm and fuzzy in the knowledge that they could then go home and post it on a thread about people having their bikes nicked and become some kind of self appointed expert in crime.
This has been completly devastating and I hope by people being more pro-active in future the thieves that operate in this area will no longer contiune.

i was stuck at the other side of the junction as she headed towards south wimbledon. pumped the legs to catch up but didnt reach her til she got to the end of meratun way, at which point she went left and i nearly got emptied by a cunt in an audi tt trying to jump the queue. fun times."
I've been told to stand up and be counted...

Ok my lock ring on my fixed has started slipping today, i got it tightened by the lovely guy @ cyclesurgery spitalfields then it proptly did it again (leading to a very classy keeling over the traffic lights). To get me home I've flipped the wheel and am finding the adjustment back to freewheel odd, I thought I wasn't addicted to fixed but it turns out I am.
So now the question is are there any one out there not at the Nocturne who can speculate on what is up with it and then also advise some where SouthWest of the River which might be able to help me tomorrow?
Cheers Y'all

Sadly I'm selling this Eddy Merckx track bike and need to get an idea of it's value - does anyone want to have a stab at what year it's from? Original forks and frame both have 7633 and the letter P is also stamped on the BB but from what I can see these don't match any of the identification stuff I've found https://vivani.net/2022/06/13/decoding-eddy-merckx-frames/ :(
Any insights are appreciated 🙏
