+1 for Japan, I was there a month ago. Here's my 2cents....
- 1 for NJSFrames. Rene came and found me at the subway stop (10 mins ride from the bullet train station) as street signs are GOOD. He's about to open (or just has) a shop with the frame builder, Ocean.... 1st floor. No bargains though!
WBase in Tokyo + carnival upstair had a good range with some Tee19 goodies. Similar prices to Blue Lug, cheaper than here and shipping savings.
Kalavinka was off the beaten track and limited English but real cheap (e.g. ~£75 for Sugino 75 vs £105 elsewhere) for their components (limited stock though)... and their workshop was fun to see.
Take some NOS european stuff and do swapsies. I saw proper tongues-out over campag aero brakes!
