*Not much to say really, but i have an IRO Mark V i have to offload. used sporadically in NY for a few months. pretty good condition. running stock IRO/formula flip/flop hubs (fixed) on weinmann deep rims. im only in London for a few days from wednesday (tufnell park area), so if anyone's interested get in quick or its going to new zealand with me!

comes with stock (crap) pedals and its actually got different straight bars (black) - the risers on it in pics and pedals are going with me. and the IROnic BMX pad not included.

i humbly ask for your fine advice: i have a chance to buy an IRO Mark V 56cm in mint condition. its all IRO in house hardware, but is ~£230 a fair price? and does anyone have any alarm bells about the bike itself?

problem with refurbs is you will be getting old stock (not santa rosa ones), so the savings are roughly the components you'd be losing (they can only take 2GB ram also)

i completely agree vinz, but the difference between 700 and 1300 is huge, and you dont always need to buy a £1300 machine just because you can.

USB2 = FW on speed (though i prefer firewire for MrSmith's reasoning). firewire are usually more expensive though
