Just finished building, Sancineto Max (1997) + Campy SR 11spd + Bora 60
I’m pretty happy with the outcome.
Photos here: https://imgur.com/gallery/wdB00CuProbably need to copy-paste into Societa Sancineto thread as well

**SOLD ! **
Up for grabs due to finding another (Sancineto) Max frame just after committing to buy this one... Would love to keep but can’t afford to build both so selling at own cost
Nikor Max frame & forks - lugged & unusually extensive chroming (closest equivalent finish could be e.g. a Tommasini Velocista). Quality frame, Campy dropouts rear & front
Very nice original metallic blue to dark blue fading paint job, some chips but no dents anywhere
Measures 59cm cc vertical and 58cm cc horizontal
Price 390€ / approx. 340GBP + actual shipping costs (ask quote)
Hard to find such nice Max frame especially at this price!

Bike is good thanks for checking 😊 Haulin’ ass and now often also two kids in Thule carrier with +40kg added weight... Have done some 3500-4000km in total now based on Strava, have actually not changed anything but swapped to a new chain once. But unfortunately longest rides have been only 100km-ish so no real touring :( Lot of shorter day trips and commuting, also with studded tires in winter
I have half dozen other bikes in the garage, but this has become most used one... Its still super-comfy and fast rolling, feels light & always fun to ride
She’s a keeper for sure!

New photos attached - very clean looking and excellent condition top-quality frame!
Includes Cane Creek integrated headset and carbon spacers, original seat collar and the pictured solid carbon seat post of unknown brand (possibly ITM?) as well as carbon Cervelo top cap
Steerer is uncut so can even ”size up” with a longer stem (seatpost also has plenty of height)

"Verdict
The Cervélo R3 SL is one of the best road bikes on the planet; some people would argue that it is the best. If you’re in the market for a top level, high performance speed machine, this is a real taste of roadie heaven."

@mk1mark: Ride quality is excellent honestly - the frame felt bit harsh with the original parts, but with this rebuild setup and supple 38mm tires - really smooth rolling! And zero flex even with heavier loads. Not the most agile rig, but thats not a surprise to anyone surely...
@russmeyer: This is my second identical double kickstand from Esge. It’s a quality piece - quite heavy, but still officially rated to just 25kg - meaning with loaded panniers there might be safer options. However I’ve had zero issues so far. I cut the legs on mine shorter which makes a positive difference in terms of stability for sure. Still seems the design allows more instability towards non-drive side when riding with a single pannier - better off mounting uneven baggage on drive side. Also worth mentioning the folding mechanism when folded up is open for road debris (if riding in poor / muddy conditions) - not an issue with the front mudflap however
Hey! Is this WTB still relevant? Have a 56cm + original Hollowgrams w/ ceramic bearings just hanging in my garage here in Helsinki, Finland
PM if needed
