oh man, I didn't realize it wouldn't be open if there's no scheduled event happening. The NY one is a public park, so anyone can go in whenever. I think its about 5 miles away, so I might still just go to check it out, unless there's something else going on tonight.

there's derby training on wednesdays and thursdays, but I think I'm going to check out polo on Wednesday. I just want to go for a ride and see it. We have a velodrome in Queens, NY, but its not in a great state.

do you need a light? I have an extra front one, I never ride with one in NY, you could borrow it, unless the cops here actually ticket you for not having one, then I have to use it. I have gotten way too many tickets for stupid stuff.

so is this Rapha stuff really worth it? I don't think they sell it in the US. It would have to be GREAT stuff, since its going to cost me double. I would like a rainproof coat, I had one last year but it only lasted one season.

I'm taking the Eurostar to Paris tonight and I think that you need to put your bike in a bag in order to bring it onboard. I only have one of the Serfas hard cases, and I don't want to bring that with me to paris. Do you know if there's a shop near the train station where I could pick up a cardboard box?

what is track racing in London like? I have raced at the Kissena Velodrome in Queens, New York, and there are never that many females that show up to race. It averages around 2-5 women per race. Is it like that here or are there more serious women riders?

who rides pink deep-v's? I saw someone yesterday on maybe London Wall with them. I only know two other people in New York who have them. Very nice.
