i plan to build it up myself, ive ridden fixed for a couple of years. probably one of the few in edinburgh. i came in to a bit of unexpected cash so i got measured up for a frame and ordered it

im new on here and theres not much of a fixed or bike scene for that matter in edinburgh. so im very little clued up on tech terms and the like.

ive not tried fitting any parts yet, and im sorry not quite sure what faced means?

hi everyone, i recently received my vigorelli from mercian. and there seems to be what sounds like metal fillings rattelling around the top tube. also the paintjob is not perfect thin at the points where its most likely to chip, ie the head tube, bb and seat clamp area around the edges.you can sort of see the colour of the metal faintly. i kind of lack the confidence for phoning the guys up to express my concern or anoyance. i could be being a bit fussy, i dont know. does anyone have any thoughts?

building from scratch so will prob buy mostly carbon just to be a dick about it .

street fixed luxury item not for getting from a to b special rides ?

for an expensive build what carbon crankset would you suggest ?

what carbon parts would you go for if you wanted to build as light as possible not including frame ?
