Greetings, 3D-printers. I've never used a 3D printer or done much of anything in CAD but I do have a little fix that I think would be relatively simple and ideal for these sorts of machines. Would anyone be up for helping for some sort of beer- or money-based reward? I have a guitar that's missing a tuner ferrule: it's basically a tube with an ID and an OD, then a curved wider bit at the top. Could something like this be matched?

I just mentioned this to my boss (I write about tech for New Scientist magazine) and he's game for a story if I can find another couple of examples of websites shuttering because of the Act. And if I do that I'll be approaching Gov and Ofcom for their side of things...

Not saying that this could solve anything, change the Act, or stop LFGSS having to shut, but you never know.

Is this affecting other websites? Feels like we'll see more of this, but @Velocio is probably ahead of the curve on understanding the implications of the new Act?

I can't imagine it's a massive earner for them. But if you're a high-end collector I can see why buying direct from Gibson is reassuring; it's like getting a letter of authenticity when buying art I suppose.

One potentially silly question: if you mulch heavily twice a year, several centimetres deep, how do you deal with rising levels? I'd spill over retaining garden walls and shed bases if I did that, and cover too much of several tree trunks.
