Couple of years ago I set up Centaur 11 speed sprockets on a pre 2015 SR rear mech and ergos, there was a slight shifting issue just over half way down the gears, whatever I did I couldn’t get it quite right. I can’t find the article now, but there was a change to the spacer widths back then to make the sprockets run better. Ended up having to use (I think) a 2mm spacer between (possibly) the 3rd and 4th smallest sprockets and it since been spot on.
One to consider if you can’t quite get it right also.

What Ergos have you got? Same era as the rear mech?

Could be. Can you show any rim wear please?

My 6 speed wheel is getting close to needing another rim (already had one rebuild in 10,000 miles) but don’t fancy rebuilding it again.

Used just twice on a turbo for an hour each time. So probably equivalent to 35 miles. I cannot remember if it came with stupid spacer that sometimes sits behind the largest sprocket depending on what hub you have (?), but if it did I can’t find it.

Bought these back in 2016 when our office relocated and I started commuting by Brompton (again). Never quite fitted then, certainly don’t now. Probably worn only a handful of times. Have a nice stretch to them. No marks anywhere, crotch still 100%, labels all completely intact. Could probably get away with saying BNWOT.
Guess the current version of these is the Transverse Regular shorts.

I had similar issues when I first got my shifters @ArthurDent, trouble is that was 14 years ago and I can’t remember what I had to do to fix it, it it’s definitely fixable. I do remember finding the answer on the internet (it existed back then) so give a good old Google and hopefully you can find the answer. Good luck 👍🏼

I dug out the freehub earlier but it doesn’t have any bearings in it. You’re welcome to it, but it would probably be easier (and cheaper) getting a complete one from somewhere else.

I ‘might’ have a Campag freehub that you can literally swap out. Won’t be able to check until tomorrow tho.

Stupid question, how is the bag carried when off the bike? Is it just that nylon strap on the back of the bag?

As Andy says. It’s helpful to also get the fast twitch muscles working even for a TT. The British Cycling standard 20 minute warm up includes these.
