Finally bought a car that might be worthy of mention ....3l Scooby Outback....seemed pretty cheap, but there are so many of them here in NZ I guess it's not surprising! It's a fresh Japanese import, 2004 136k km and seems pretty good. Only issue so far is the tailgate lock doesn't work...Google suggests they're prone to cable breaks where they go from the body to tailgate. I'll have look once the bloody rain stops!
Any thoughts on what else is likely to go wrong?! -

Moving to NZ in a month's time and looking to get an old (~150K km) Legacy...just 'cos it seems the be the right thing to have there and I've always fancied one. What should I look out for mechanically? Turbo or n/a best at that sort of age? Not too bothered about performance, just something to bung the bikes/kayaks on the roof and get around....

PRICE DROP - NOW £6000 ONO
We're emigrating to NZ so sadly this has to go.
It's a 2002 Honda Stepwagn, imported into the UK in 2002.
We stripped out the rear seats and built a bed and kitchen to use it as a camper.I also put in a leisure battery with split charge system, solar charger and 12v lighting / power around the back.
The sound system had a full upgrade with a decent Bluetooth head unit, external power amp, new speakers all round and an underseat sub.
More details and pics in the attached pdf.

Here's one that combines Pi with cycling... i was looking for a way to use my old Tacx turbo with Zwift and came across a project that takes the USB Tacx data and converts it to ANT+ for Zwift.... looks like that can vbe done witha Pi, then run Zwift on laptop/ipad/whatever..... I'm going to give it a go when I can get the turbo out of storage...anyone else tried it??

Not London, but I sent one off to Mountaineering Designs who did a really good repair/refill job at a decent price and pretty quickly.

As a kid living in the countryside, one of these Montreals crashed into our fence and was left on our drive for a while..... unlocked so I was able to play very cool driver in it.... thought it was an awesome looking thing even then and even accident damaged!
