I got my Yamaguchi frame today. It is beautiful. Unfortunately im off to the northern atlantic in about 4 hours so it will be sitting around till december waiting for me! Dammit.

I have never drunk or smoked. To be frank drunk people annoy me.

Hey Scott as you obvisously don't have time for the 'designy' stuff why don't you get someone on here to do it for you? Post a small brief and see what happens? Im sure there are alot of student designers on here who would relish the chance to be a part of something like this?

I would love to meet other cyclsts on the road. I commute at unsociable hours so I very rarely see anyone else on the road. When I came to London last week my girlfriend mocked my excitment at seeing all the people on bikes!

My uncle has HED3 (front) on one of his bikes. I had a go and it didn't inspire much confidence. Despite what they say a light crosswind does have a noticable effect and I feel I wouldn't feel comfortable riding them in any harsher wind conditions.

Also I worry about something which has been designed for such a specific job being used outside what I would consider its 'comfort zone'. Im not sure whether you'll use it exclusively on the track but I would question there ability to withstand too many typical riding-on-shitty-street knocks.

My best suggestion is to simply(?) find someone who has them to let you have a go. Good luck.

I saw Joanna Newsom at the Albert Hall last night and wondering if anyone fromm here went. I saw a pile of fixies locked en masse to the railings outside. There was also a guy sitting in front of me with a shirt with little bikes on it.

Though I think Vanilla bikes are beautiful, I think they are a bit too beautiful. They make too much of a statement (Look at me look at me). I like a subtle beauty hence my choice of having a Yamaguchi.
