hah, dont you all jump at hanging out at once, weve been walking around doing the tourist thing, pulling messengers off the street asking what lhis towns like. If you guys want to meet up im enjoying talking to cyclists and getting a feel for the culture, which so far is pretty damn different than anything ive seen before.

Yeah your weathers fantastic. The roads Ive seen so far are pretty narrow and packed with traffic, plus youve got tons more motorcyclists splitting lanes. Are all roads bike legal?

Im losing sunday entirely because of flight and the time difference, and then im leaving that saturday so Im not gonna have a chance to check out your local bike polo, even tho I wouldve liked to. Yeah im definitely not ready for that folding bike, but a tandem bikes something else entirely. Ive got a couple more days left here before Im flying over by you guys and I had a couple questions.

1. Weather? How are you all dressing lately?

2. My bikes a no-go. Huge well what the hell do I do now bummer. My group got all political on how its such a burdeon on the group to be bringing a bicycle so Im stuck without it. Have you seen any bike rentals around london? While im at it, any places you might have seen renting tandems? Fun times there.

I dont know exactly what youre asking. Do I as a white american feel remorse for native americans and other nations oppressed by white people in the past? Not really. Partly because i was raised in a chinese-american household (my step dad is 8th generation american-born chinese), and partly because whitey in the bay area is a minority, and thank god for that. Isnt central london the same deal; more minorities than white people? I have more of an immigrant mentality than a white-as-rice anglo-saxon, minoritys are disrupting the fabric of quality american life, type deal.

Hey whats your guys experience with bikes on public transportation round UK and Europe? Ill be taking a train from london to paris to florence and then to frankfurt, so im wondering whats the best thing to do with the bike.

Ill be in London for a grand total of five days, flying into LHR mid-morning on the 11th and moving out on the 16. If anyones available any of those days let me know. Oh and the bike that ill have is an 05 pista concept. Annnd im 5 8 so i dont think im in danger of Spanish tourists in florence. Thanks for the heads up anyhow.

Hey forum, ill be coming from San Francisco to London for a few days in June and thought id hit you guys up to make sure i dont miss anything while im there. For the most part ill just be doing the tourist thing and sight seeing, but if theres spare time im hoping to drop into a couple bike shops and see whats you guys have that we dont. I havent been overseas so after London im taking a few days to see Paris and Florence. I dunno if any of you know any bike shops in said towns, or other things you think i ought to check out, but if you do let me know!
