This is my favourite bike I've ever owned. It's a joy to ride. It handles great and handles even better when loaded up.
I bought it when I became a dad in 2020 and rode around with my son in it for 6 months on paternity leave during all the lockdowns. Great fun.
It's a custom build from August Bicycles (@RunRabbitRun). Gavin paid attention to every detail. He drilled the fork to internally route the dynamo wiring and made a custom mount for the rear light. Even the grips were installed at the same angle (I guess we both notice these things!).
If you're considering it for child transport, I put our car seat in the bucket then looped a ratchet strap through the underside of the car seat, through a slot I cut in the bucket, and around the frame. When my son developed decent head control I switched it out for a Babboe toddler seat, which is included in the sale, if you want it.
I am sad to sell it but I've moved from London to West Yorkshire and it's too much hard work to get it up the large hill to my house, despite the huge gear range. It needs to go to pay towards an e-cargo bike.
I've looked after it. It's done about 1100 km and (sadly) spent the Aug 2021-March 2022 in storage whilst I was living with family.
Specs:
- Black Bullitt frameset
- Groupset: Shimano SLX 12 speed (10-51/34T)
- Brakes: Shimano SLX four piston brakes
- Pro Koryak bars, stem, seat post and clamp
- Halo T2 rims with Sapim Race/Strong spokes, SP Dynamo front hub and Bitex rear hub
- Fabric Scoop Sport shallow saddle and grips
- Supernova front and rear dynamo lights
- Panaracer Pasela 1.5" tyres
- Larry Vs Harry mudguards
- Larry Vs Harry plastic front bucket
I can chuck in a pair of unused Schwalbe Marathon tyres.
I'm looking for £2300. I really want it to go to a good home rather than sit in my garage unused.
Collection from Calderdale, West Yorkshire (yes, I should have sold before moving). It easily fits in a small van (e.g. Volkswagen Transporter) or you could probably get it in an estate car with the seats down and wheel(s) off.

I bought this second-hand in December but unfortunately I barely ride it and it’s now taking up too much room at home.
No dents to the frame but some knocks to the paint work. It’s really fun to ride. Steel frame with braze ons for rack, mudguards, and Alfine hubs.
I’ve done a fair bit of work on it - cleaned, greased and lubed, wheels trued, and disc brakes realigned. Fitted with a new Cosine Ti Endurance saddle, new bar tape, and Topeak Super Tourist DX touring rack. I'll chuck in some flat pedals.
Pick up from E17 - and I'll throw in a pair of unused Schwalbe Land Ranger tyres – or Holborn.

Ceramic's not CD's, they were double the price :
http://roadcyclinguk.com/news/racing-news/mavic-open-pro-ceramic-rim-long-term-report.html
The links posted above by maddernj and dr chan made me doubt myself as to whether they are indeed ceramic, as the colours of my rims are all gray - braking surface is same colour as the rim - like those CDs.
I've dug out my huge box of receipts and they are indeed CDs, NOT ceramics. Apologies for this, it's a genuine mistake and I've absolutely not intended to deceive anyone. Corrected the OP.
Attached some pics of the wheels and of the receipt, which I'll happily show in person along with ID to prove it's me on the receipt if you want...
Price dropped to £450 for the whole lot to reflect that they're CDs not ceramics. If there's no interest within 24 hours, I'll break it up.

if the ceramic surface is still good on the wheels they are a great wheelset - the rims are no longer made and they are strong, and last many times longer than the non ceramic open pros
Bit of wear on the front, never had a rim brake on the back. Will post pics tonight hopefully.
Are the wheels 26", 650c or 700c?
700 c.
Time to split?
Heh, maybe.

I ran it with a Avid Juicy disc brake for the first year or so and had no problems either. Actually took it off so I could run drops for a while and then just went with the rim brake as the disc was so powerful I'd end up locking the front wheel quite often. Bit scary...
Dibs noted on wheels. Would prefer to sell whole as I'm lazy, so price drop to £500. If no one is interested I'll break it up.

Perfect condition. It's a precision instrument and has been used and stored with care. Never dropped, as can be seen from the fact it's got no dings anywhere on it.
Includes all of the original box contents, i.e. instruction leaflet, tension meter conversion table (with spoke width gauge).
Really easy to use and takes guesswork out of building wheels. Mine have held up great.
From a quick search on Froogle, these are going for between £60-70 brand new, so... £45
Collection in Putney (home)/South Kensington (uni).
