FYI it's made by SE, not Fuji (SE make the legendary PK Ripper BMX bike)
You could get a Iro Mark V for $600, bring it home and sell it - probably for a profit, too - you definitely wouldn't lose anything.
Good point - the bike-to-uni scheme is in partnership with fuji but the bike in question is SE. have edited the topic title.
I would probably leave the bike out there for next time i visit.

I have a friend at Emory university who i'm going to visit for most of December. Quite fancy hacking round Atlanta by bike and thought I might as well buy one seeing as the dollar is so weak - does anyone have any experience of the SE Draft?
I have to confess it's not really my cup of tea, but looks like it would do the job.
Edited to change brand name

I gave up my TV and started using http://www.uknova.com - British TV download site
It has loads of stuff on and you can ignore most of it and just pick out the stuff you want.
It has some old stuff (e.g. dennis potter/ jonathan meades/adam curtis) on there quite often as well as recent programs

If you read 'Rotten Boroughs' in Private Eye (recommended reading anyway), you soon get a jaundiced view on the competence / scruples of local councils!
Anyway, said it was tangenical. Rob's OK and bus drivers are cnuts.
Rotten boroughs has some pretty outrageous stuff - like the Newham Green mayor who turned the park attendants into his own private police force to terrorize the local youth.

Cycling on fast country A-roads scares me way more.
The worst I ever cycled on was the road between Andover and Salisbury. Fast, narrow, and drivers who've never even heard of a bicycle, let alone seen one using their roads.
