Hi All,
For sale is my slightly rough round the edges Talon 29er from Giant. I think its a '1', but am not 100% sure as there seem to be parts from the talon 1's and talon 2's on this thing.
I bought it new and its had a quiet life. Kept outdoors but undercover so there is surface rust on some bolts and comps - the original ali shifters and break levers have some galvo on them but still completely functional.Shim disks, front caliper+line+Lever is new
New shim HG cassette
New chain
Sram X5 Derailleur & 'Howitzer' crank
Rockshox front forks
Kenda tyresNo show pony by any means, but an excellent trail runner/beater for someone with better access to the great outdoors than me.. Thinking ballpark £350 ono but I could be completely wrong.
Any questions please get in touch, pickup is 10 mins walk from Tulse Hill,
Thanks for looking !

Hey people !
Absolute greeny here (Campag & cycling in general) so apologies in advance, hoping to hear anyone's thoughts and possibly get some advice on this crankset I picked up recently. The box label reads 'Record carbon 10s crankset 175mm 39-53'.I bought it in the view to throwing it on and using it, but am beginning to have second thoughts as it seems to be fairly difficult to get hold of these from brief research.
Have I accidentally bought a collectors piece that I now have to frame and mount on my wall ?
Any thoughts/Qs welcome,
best !

Galvanic corrosion in metal/carbon fibre boundaries is not something I had considered, that's a good point I will have to look into that.
In regards to the crankset, I think I am going to pass it on to someone who will appreciate it more than me, I am in the market for a Rohloff for touring with and need to save some ££ !
I've been told that Condor Cycles in London does a buy and sell, does anyone have any experience with them? or I can post it on the classifieds here if anyone is interested,
Best,
B
