Swindon? Excellent connectivity by rail to Bristol/Bath and Reading/London, house prices way less than both Reading and Bath and £300K could buy a nice 3-bed semi. Town centre is depressing though, but there's the Outlet Village and the Magic Roundabout... I'm a born and bred Swindonian though so may be biased.

Sounds like an interesting venture, Dan. I know nothing about herbal teas or their market in the UK but wondered if you've garnered feedback on your blends from friends and family in the first instance?
I'd park the idea of production facilities until you have a following of sorts and a steady stream of orders coming in. At this stage, I'd probably focus on market research, impartial product feedback from friends and family, perhaps having a general chat with the Outdoor Provisions guys to ask how they went about establishing themselves as a small brand in the outdoor space, and setting up a website and social media presence if the research and feedback stacks up over time. All of that can be done for free, or with very little.
There are also registration requirements depending on whether you're planning to market the teas as herbal medicine in the UK, but that's not immediately relevant.

Seems in bad taste to continue posting about my current projects in light of Hayley’s passing but I reckon she’d have been supportive of the Big Dummy’s current 26+ getup. One thing I know for sure is that I already miss her presence on this forum so much. I might conclude this thread with a photo of the Carrier once it’s done — who knows when that’ll be — and leave it there, let’s see.

Looking good! If you don’t notice a difference with the cantis then I’ll pull the “UsE kOoLsToPs” card lol. This is probably the best guide I’ve read on setting them up though:

Cool headset too, will look even better once weathered and beausaged on the commuter.

Bought these Gevenalle CX shifters off the forum earlier this year for £40 collected but don’t have use for them at the moment. Yours for £40 plus £5 postage. They’re new! 1x10sp shimano road compatible. Comes with a shift cable and instructions. I love Gevenalle, have the 2x11sp ones on my road bike and can’t fault them.
Engin seat clamp, made in ‘Philly’. I didn’t realise my bike needed a 30mm clamp, and this one is 33.1. Again, new and unused. I paid £30 for it so you can have it for that price including UK postage.
