My f208-1 turned up today. I’ll give it a sharpen as it’s quite dull out of the box. It’s a lot heavier than anything I’ve used before. If I enjoy the shape I can see myself getting a smaller Chinese cleaver but maybe that’s missing the point.

At £16 it would be rude to say no. Give me an idea if I want/need to spend more. Cheers

I’m a chef and use global knives at work as they’re indestructible and it’s work, I got them years ago and see no reason to replace.

Home my main knife is an IO Shen from a decade ago. I like how thin the blade it.

I want to try a Chinese cleaver, this will be my first new knife in years so don’t mind spending pennies. CCK seems well regarded.

I didn’t manage to get pics sorted today as it’s pissing down here. It’s the same as it was infront of the pub but the saddle has been stripped and the handlebars have changed/new esi grips.

Thanks. It’s a bit annoying but I need a geared bike and have now been out of work for a month and I don’t want to keep dipping into savings. Out of any bike I’ve owned its joint favourite alongside a Dave Yates from years back.

No rear brake as its setup fixed. Has mount and routing for it.

Unfortunately due to some health issues I’m going to have to take it easy on the bike for a bit. I need to raise some money to get a bike with gears as I live in Cornwall and can’t be smashing it when I go out riding for the foreseeable future.
