Moonstruck in Vauxhall is my favourite, they rotate through roasters for their guest espresso and often have geshas. I've had some nice fruity ones from Elsewhere too but be warned that they've sold off their cafes and their only location is the roastery in Deptford!
Broca's house espresso is Dark Arts which is good though I have only had it once. Generally Dark Arts has good reputation really, so I assume their own cafe will be good!
I've also been to Carbon Kopi in Baron's Court a couple of time and the espresso was decent/on the fruitier side.
Mostly South London centric sorry, but I hope this helps! I very strongly recommend Moonstruck out of all of these.

Most cafes focus on milk-based drinks, so they'd probably make you meh espresso, but some places like Moonstruck consider espresso its own drink (as they should!) and will go through the whole ordeal of puck prep etc to serve you something delicious. It probably depends on your taste as well though, I know I can find some great fruity espresso but I don't know where to send someone who prefers darker roasts.

I'm interested in the amp and CD player but am also in London. If @Tall_Tom is still interested in the tt, I'd be happy for the three of us to arrange something!

Would anyone be interested in a Wilfa Svart for £25? The lid of the grounds box(??) is broken, but the grinder itself works totally fine.
As someone said a couple of pages ago, it's not an amazing grinder (switching to an 1zpresso K-max was a big upgrade), but it is a pretty decent entry level grinder.

Oh yeah I don't really think there is a way that coffee should taste, but in this case the coffee was fermented with peaches, so to me there's a clear divide between the peaches and the coffee itself.
