thank you and also rickster. I have the watch now. I think it is maybe a return as the box has been opened and it is set to BST+1, but that is fine and I have a head start. I will check out the set up link @rickster sent. As for the strap you mention, yes I would like to experiment and will and send you a pm. A friend is doing a MND charity walk this month, so I can either give her an extra few quid, or direct some £ to you or wherever you wish.

I am collecting a G-Shock 5610U from Argos later today. I know I am not great at setting up such things. In order to avoid annoying myself, can anyone recommend the easiest internet guide.
Also, I think I read on here about an aftermarket strap which is more comfortable/less sweaty, but can't find the conversation. Any help? thank you.

I had a 2011 1.2 Se Jazz for a few years until moocher bought it and sadly someone drove into it. the engine only had about 8o bhp or something but it was fine and only needed consumables for 6+ years. If you were loading it with 4 adults it would struggle, but otherwise copes well. If you take off the front wheel you can put a bike sideways behind the front seats and the boot is still all yours. It did c48mpg on short runs, and c57 on longer runs if you drove it carefully, but why would you do anything else. They keep their value well which tells you what you need to know.

After a knee injury I got an eMTB for "pre-hab and re-hab" about 6 years ago. If you are compromised by injury/age/health, an ebike almost makes those compromises go away. Magic.
Now my knee is repaired, I still use the ebike a lot. You can enjoy the trendy "Zone 2 only" rides out and about in the undulating countryside, instead of on a trainer.

Just once with AliEx - £100 down is the c£35 stolen by them, plus c£65 for the C2 now on permanent loan to my daughter (she is using a Hario v60 set somebody kindly sold to me on here). I have a basic Sage electric at home, but "need" a quite nice hand grinder when I am away.
@branwen - please pm me with what you would like for the P1 -
2 things. With the James "Experimental" I used more coffee in my V60 and it has gone from not very nice at all (astringent?) to very enjoyable. So my fault. I think I need to be much more accurate with coffee that is not just basic espresso blend.
Second, my daughter has taken my Timemore C2. I am pleased she is taking an interest. Aliexpress took my money but failed to deliver a new one. I am about £100 down and no hand grinder. So has anyone got a grinder of similar or above quality they want to move on? 30mg capacity is OK and no need for espresso grind.
Not sure I will be here, but please put me on the list. I will be on my Roberts road fixed, which I had made for me years ago all because of this forum. I had not ridden fixed since I was 3, specced it right up from original hubjub, had no idea, and rode it back from their tiny shop to Pimlico. I did fall off on Clapham Common avoiding a mum and pram but threw myself under the bike so it was OK. The ride remains one of my finest achievements.
