For sale: Dawes Hardware 16" 26er 4130 Cr-Mo mountain bike. I bought this from an eBay seller who had owned it since new (approximately 1994 from what I can tell from the Dawes catalogue archives?) 18 speed, cantilever brakes, thumb shifters all in good working order. Looking for £50, collection from Brockley, SE London. Any other questions please feel free to ask!
A project designed for my partner but it's worked out to be a little too small. Would say that it would suit anyone from 5' to 5'6". Top tube measurement centre to centre is 56.5 cm (so around 22 inches). From what I can tell it has been stored in a garage for the last 25 years, all parts look original, and the previous seller informed me that it had had new cables and a once over from a bike shop in the last year or so. Here's a nice bit of spiel from the 1994 Dawes catalogue:
"One of the lightest bikes in its class, Hardware's spec is as well-balanced as its ride, offering a host of advanced Shimano functions at an entry-level price. The shifting performance is light and precise, and the M-System brakes deliver dependable stopping power whatever the weather conditions - features designed to put you, the rider, in complete control when the going gets tough."
Ass Saver Wing Wing 2 Road for sale. Bought and then creased for installation before realised I'd bought the road size and not the gravel size because I'm an eager fool.
As such it remains unused, all fixings included, also comes with two small patches of frame protection. Suitable for tyres up to 35mm. £18 including UK postage.
