Hello fixie skidders,
Long story short, I bought two pairs of Levi's 501 Slims secondhand. I thought I was buying classic fit 501s, but alas these are slim version. They're labelled slim but I would describe them as more on the skinny side, although that might just be my voluminous thighs.
Unfortunately, it's not 2008 and I no longer possess the physique to pull these off so am unlikely to ever wear them.
Both pairs are 32w x 34L.
Blue pair are pretty much like new – £15
Grey pair have some wear to the badge but otherwise have plenty of life left in them – £10£20 (plus postage) gets you both.
Happy to meet up in London (I'm regularly in E17, E11 and E1) or post.
Give me a shout if you're interested.

@Chopsicle Cheers! It's a very non-urgent problem so I'll drop by one of your repair workshops sometime :)

I just sent for two packs @dangeek. Realised I meant to do this a month ago and today's shitty news has lit a fire under me.

LFGSS and Microcosm shutting down 16th March 2025 (the day before the Online Safety Act is enforced)
Absolutely fucking dreadful news.
This place is one of the last holdouts of an older, more utopian view of what the internet could be for. I've only met a few of you out in the real world but thank you to anyone who ever answered a question, dug out a much needed part for me, wrote a build or trip thread, or just called me a cunt.
You've all provided years of inspiration and laughs. I've been on here half the time many people have and I still honestly don't know what I'll do without it.
Thank you @Velocio for everything.

Big shout out for the Zoa trail hunter cap, whenever it gets cold I'm reminded that it's my fave piece of winter kit. It's a dream to have something that keeps your ears warm and plays well with glasses.
One thing I would note though, @Chopsicle. Maybe use stronger glue for the logo patch in the next batch. Mine came off after two washes, not really an issue at all as the hat is still great but thought I'd mention it.

I go to my pal Ben here: https://www.treatwell.co.uk/place/rebel-barbers-broadgate/. Not the cheapest but does a great haircut and decent chat. He's also a cyclist so you'll always have something to talk about.
If you want really cheap, I used to go to Saf's on Lower Clapton Road. I've not been since about 2019 but it was a tenner then. However, it's worth noting the quality of your haircut will vary, which is why I switched. But I guess you can't really complain for a tenner!

Apologies if I'm aging you unnecessarily, but a brake also means you can do fufanus and pretend to be in an iconic mid-school (I hate that my era of BMX is now called that) video.
Although, brakeless means you can pretend to be in Can I Eat or Voices so there's that.
I still associate Hoder with this: https://vimeo.com/211187263
.Still one of the best threes I've ever seen.

Yeah, I've ridden the other side of the canal before through Ash and Henley Park ranges and up into Swinley, that was fine if the red flags weren't up. But I'd always thought the Deepcut side was off limits.
I know Minley Manor is definitely not allowed. I briefly lived with an ex in Yateley in my twenties and tried to ride a CX bike through there and got chased out hahaa.
But back on topic, the Jones is sick!

I've been using Scribe 365 on my cross/gravel bike for a few years, they've survived a few winters and my love of jumping things/casing bunnyhops. For context, I'm 6'3" and about 78kg.
Not the lightest wheels I've ever owned but they do so seem to be bombproof. Plus, from memory they were about £360, so budget friendly.
You were beaten to the punch by @Dexter, I'm afraid. Will let you know if it falls through though.
Sold pending payment.
