Actually kinda both. the cannondale track, argon 18 electron, dolan pre cursa have steeper seat tubes in their smallest size. Some do exaggerate the slack of the head tube though.

I think manufacturers exaggerate seat tube angles to avoid extreme overlap. My top tube will be 515mm effective. Slackening the seat tube angle will result in a lot more overlap than what I would see as rideable.

I don't think 76st/75ht is reinventing the bicycle. the Argon 18 Electron in XS is 76.5st/74ht.

im using a 75 degree head tube to get a neutral trail of 59mm as I'm going to use a 30mm raked fork. unless 75 really does not work, which I do not know will or will not. What do you think?

I see. I’ll request for smaller diameter tubing. The top tube will be 35mm and the down tube will be 40mm the chain and seat stays will be rectangular. The geometry will be a 76st/75ht which is between the Argon 18 Electron and the Parallax in XS. Will that be a better idea? Btw I also run 25mm at 120psi hahah.

I don’t have a set time to how much I ride everyday. Usually I would ride instead of taking the public transport to go to places like malls or to run some errands. The actual ride though is usually 20-30km and takes about an hour or two. I understand why you would think that all of my weight will be on the handlebars. I have a question how much difference does 1 degree make? I have seen people daily Cinelli Parallaxes which has a 76 st angle (size xs) and it’s ok for them. Even so how did the person with the 81 st angle bike uses the bike as a workhorse and even go on tour in Paris even when all his weight is uncomfortably on the handlebars?
