wow looks sick! the wheels are perfect for that build! the sizing keeps confusing me with these kein. did you measure the 57.5 center-center or center-top? I measured mine 56 center-center (sticker size 57)

thank you! the Quantum Pro actually was a gift from my stepdad, which got me into cycling 2-3 years ago. the Quantum Race was a lucky find I stumbled upon in my hometown area. :-) the owner told me that it has originally been bought in Switzerland.

the speakers are Grundig Fine Arts Model Two. German built transmission-line speakers from the late 80s - early 90s. they sound really good!

Currently finishing up two Klein Projects I started last year. A 1998 Klein Quantum Pro in Jade Chameleon and a 1997 Klein Quantum Race in Caribbean Linear Fade. Both size 57, although I measured them and they both measure about 56cm c-c, toptube & seattube. Curious. Anyway what follows are a couple of pictures of the process. They are both not 100% finished as of yet. The Quantum Pro was upgraded from a 9-speed Shimano Ultegra 6500 to a 11-speed Campagnolo Chorus 2014 groupset and the Quantum Race was built up with 8-speed Shimano 600 Tricolor and got a 10-speed Campagnolo Centaur groupset from 2010 I believe. Both are fitted with a Campagnolo Vento wheelset from different generations. The Quantum Pro is about 99% done. Just waiting on some little bits (purple bottle cage, purple seatpost clamp, purple endcaps, new pedals and saddle). The Quantum Race still needs new cables & housings, a new bar tape (I am thinking pink or celeste), chain and pedals.

hm. i don't know what i should feel about that. those are the exact pictures from the auction site i bought the frameset from......what are the authors information based on? since the design stifu has been seen on some other swiss respray framesets....

the frame finally arrived. i have now more photos of it. it really has interesting tubes. most of the tubes seem to have some sort of aero shape. and i think it has an eery similarity with a losa professional i found online.

thanks for the quick reply. i also thought it to be weird. a respray would make sense. maybe that is the reason why there is a small remark on the rear dropout "Design Stifu" might be a paintshop......

i bought an interesting sancineto frame with a lots of losa pantos on it and aero seatstays. does anyone have any info on sancineto/losa frames?
