Used them 3 days a week in mixed weather for about a 9 months, sill in great shape. Bit too stiff to be doing much more walking than just around the office but otherwise really good.
Circumstances changed so now they are gathering dust but I was really happy with them, had DZR shoots that fell apart in weeks so compared to those I was really happy

a desire to make the games equal, and changing the ball, goal, pitch size is seen as diminishing the sense of eq
this is super inetresting as a topic, lots of sports already do it. Prof Ross Tucker on a podcast recently talked about this, and World Rugby had looked into it. the survey from the players came out as pretty clearly in favour of playing with the mens rules for ball and pitch dimensions.
My view is that there is a huge survivor bias here and the people who's view points they should also consider is the girls and women who never got to excel in a sport where the conditions of the game were designed for large men first and foremost.
to butcher a quote from the pod re soccer: there was a point raised that if men played in the same average, relative conditions that women do, the ball would be as big and heavy as a basket ball.

Anyone have tips where to look online for benchmark prices for 2nd hand macbooks?
My work has a range of them available for purchase, mostly 2017 Macbook airs i5 or i7 and range of prices depending on condition and spec, lowest spec & worst condition Β£250 i5 8ram to best condition & spec i7 8ram, 256ssd
I'm totally lost, and can't figure out if there is value to be had. I know close to zero about Mac's and want to get my first one, but don't want to be fleesed here. Is eBay going to be the best benchmark or is there some hidden market Place or refurbished store that I'm missing I can compare against?

On Android & windows & Ubuntu I run a combo of
Raindrop.io for bookmarks
If there's some content in the bookmark to keep or notes to add it gets extra hands on time and goes into one note.If it's coding specific content it goes into a .MD file in my private github (files per language or util). If onenote has formatted code blocks I'd prefer it all in one place.
However I struggle to keep things organised, the unsorted folders are the wilderness.
However I'm a sucker for new platforms and there is always a strong temptation to move on to the latest and greatest.

Selling this great little pannier bag for my Wife.
It's in good condition, slim profile fitted laptop + essentials for her 5k commute. It's about 16L capacity.
Purchased in 2018, regularly used (in fair weather) for about 6-7 months until children ruined everything ;)An imminent move to Italy means it's no longer needed.
Vaude Reva https://amzn.eu/d/dJqoaAP is the best link I could find for it. Vaude don't have the old product spec up online any more (that I could see)
Β£25 pick up N4 or meet somewhere centrally in London
Our movers are coming Thursday next week, don't let this poor bag spend the rest of its life in a garage in Italy!

Wanted to post my coffee set up evolution
Years 0-5 drink any plonk , just for caffeen fix.
Years 6-7 Nespresso (moved in with my now wife from Italy)
8-15 Gaggia Brera bean to cup (because f*** NestlΓ©) great little machine. Normally using an Italian dark rost style bean, illy, Lavazza, Pellini etc or whatever nameless bag of beans that one of the local Italian deli's have behind the counter.I've decided to add a pour over set up to my stack to have my long coffees from pour over and better beans instead of just running the brera long (which is actually fine, but why settle)
This was inspired from having had an extended Xmas break back home drinking a lot of coffee from birth a local roaster and some coffee a pal of mine roasts, all from either pour over or aeropress.I'm sure watching 100s of hours of James Hoffman videos has in no way rewired my brain. Went for hario V60 decanter & hario mini hand grinder as I couldn't justify spending much more right now

Furious that I didn't think of this one:
