There is a bike store near my house that has a used 2012 Trek X-Caliber for sale. The bike is in excellent condition. It was owned by someone known to the shop, and maintenance has been done to the bike. The shock was serviced along with the brakes being recently bleed. The former owner also upgraded the drivetrain to an SRAM SHAREit Gx 1x11. It also has a Rock Shox Reba fork on it. The shop says it is ready for the trails and had no issues with it, it is a highly rated bike shop. Do you think $499 is a good price for it. Below is a link to the specs of it. Thanks in advance! I bike commute daily year-round and catch a lot of flats on the last 2 miles by my work where they don't take as good care of the roads. I just added tuffy tape to my road bike gatorskins, so hopefully that will help, but my mobile pump is failing. I ride with massive 51.6-75.7L (open/closed) Hugo panniers, so I'd like a pump that's shy of a full sized floor pump to carry along with me to cut 100-200 strokes down to I don't know what. I want to hit 110 PSI in sub-70 strokes, I guess. The fewer the better, I'm sick of getting flats on a dark rainy night and having to pump away. Is there such a product?
