What type of brake hanger did you use on the rear of the bike?

It's a V2, so there's a canti hanger welded on. Brakes are Froglegs.

It is (was?) a '95 KHS Montana Comp. True Temper steel.

A friend of mine gave it to me. I thought he was being kind, but between a quill stem that was practically fused to the steerer, and the crack, I think it was a practical joke 🤣 .

It's gone now. Stripped down and frame sold to a chap on eBay who said he could weld, so perhaps it lives on...

Yeah, I don't imagine the QC is very good on that frame.... (although it has lasted seven years and counting)

Lovely thing for £11 although the edges aren't half sharp, I nearly lost a finger when I was pulling it off the steerer after a test-fit...

Built this last summer, but absolutely hated the way it rode - initially I thought it was just because it was a dad bike. But then after a month or two I noticed the frame was cracked nearly all the way round the seat tube by the BB. This was after I'd paid for the new paintjob obviously...

My woodguards arrived the other day and they are really, really nice.
