   2 Roberts fixed frame( silver 531) 55cm top tube c-c; seat tube 55cm c-t
   120mm rear dropouts, this has lugs drilled on seat & head tubes & some of the chunkiest seat & chainstays, very solid stiff frame,some minor paint missing otherwise excellent condition,--frame/forks headset only

Hi can you send me a pictures of the underside of the bottom bracket which should be stamped with the sizing & could you confirm the date code stamped near the top of the seat tube...
& do you have a 25mm seatpin for it?

Classic Lightweights site confirm Alf Curnock purchased Imperial Petral from Joe Cooke in the early 1950's

extract from the London Gazzette 1952

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
heretofore subsisting between us the undersigned
Alfred James Curnock and Sidney Francis Jarrams
carrying on business as Cycle Manufacturers and
Dealers at 335-337 Stratford Road Sparkbrook in
the city of Birmingham under the style or firm of
IMPERIAL PETREL CYCLES has been dissolved
by mutual consent as from the 1st day of February

1. All debts due to and owing by the said late
   firm will be received and paid respectively by the
   said Alfred James Curnock. The business will in
   future be carried on by Alfred James Curnock under
   the style or firm of Imperial Petrel Cycles.—Dated
   the 10th day of July 1952.
