@Tonts The thread on the mech that screws into the frame is Fubar'd? (Or alternatively the frame thread is Fubar'd but its more likely the soft alu on the mech).

Nice one. I've done this twice over the years.
My PC is circa ten years old, possibly older and originally had an Intel Core i3-3240 . It was getting a little creaky and I had added as much RAM as the Motherboard could handle so in December 2020 I found a 2nd hand Intel Core i5-3330 online for I think £35. It had a 12 month guarantee so I took a chance and four years later it is still working.
However with the onset of time this too was getting a bit creaky so I saw an Intel Core i7-3770 on the CEX website. Again it is 2nd hand but for £27-95 incl postage it was worth a shot.
Fitted in in minutes and again the PC is lovely and smooth again.

If you are a history buff and one that is on the back burner for me is the ferry to Ouistreham and then do the Normandy beaches/other sights of interest. Plenty of other places like Bayeaux to visit as well.
Or heading the other direction and a round trip that I rode a few years ago is the ferry to Dunkirk and head East into Belgium and visit the Waterloo battlefield. You can also include a few bergs from the tour of Flanders e.g. the Muur van Geraardsbergen is very accessible.

Recommendations for a budget gravel wheelset? Im thinking Hunt 4 seasons gravel although Hunt seems to get a bad rep on here or DT Swiss g1400/1600/1800 (although I haven’t really worked out what the difference is between the 3 options).
Or am I missing a trick and there are other options out there?
They are going on my alu Spesh Diverge E5 and I tend to attack the trails with an 85kg MTB attitude so can be quite unforgiving on wheels.

I've had two Diverge E5's for the last three years and love them for gravel which is 90% of my riding.
However when I jump on my carbon road bike it's a different world. So much easier to pedal and get up to speed #horsesforcourses
An all-time classic. Fantastic.
