It’s currently SORN with no MOT. It needs a break bleed on the front and the rear brake bulb isn’t working, fairly simple fixes. Other than these it’s a great running bike and would be a bargain with a little TLC.
Wild happily do the work my self but currently living between a few different spots due to having to leave my flat a lot sooner than I thought. Between work and moving about it’s not really feasible. It’s currently stored at my mates flat in Sydenham but I can come into London to show the bike if anyone’s interested.
Would be great as a little project anyone’s keen on for a fun run around bike, also would be a bargain for anyone looking to get their first motorbike on a CBT if you’re good with mechanics etc. I had only experience with bicycle building when i got this and learnt to service it fine.
Would be stoked to see this go to a good home, let me know if you or your friends/family might be interested.
Comes with papers and service history, spare key etc.
Sick of being limited by the weird head tube size on my Raleigh (1 1/8 threadless = no stem options ever.) Figured I'd try and match up the lugged frame with a lugged fork and convert it to threadless.
Any fork options going that are similar in vibe would be appreciated.
Only really need to borrow it for now just to see how my old Raleigh feels with risers rather than the cruiser bars. Seems like there are loads of 1" adaptors around but not many 1 1/8" if u got one plz hit me up.
Thought I may as well ask as I'm gonna be around SE this morning and East this afternoon running errands. Nothing too flashy as I need to be able to lock up this bike for longer than 5 minuets.
Need to measure it up to confirm size, but it’s free if anyone wants it. It was originally my bike I had at uni but someone booted the wheel in and it lived in my mates shed for another 7 years. Has a lot of surface rust, and I’m fully over trying to get a cotter pin crank out of a frame.
