Me and my wife had a two night trip in the woods. The path was sandy & dusty, birds already left to look for warmer regions but the sun still was showing off.
It was a really nice time to disconnect & I am really happy that we could have this time together.
She doesn't ride MTB often so it was a bit difficult for her at times, navigating between roots and long sand stretches, managing to handle all the weight and eating chippies & haribos. Also I am really glad that Trek I built for her is just unbeatable, just how it is supposed to be

Im rather bad in updating this thread again but i'll try.
Stumpjumper was built up for my brothers partner, she is mega happy, i didn't take any photos but i'll do it once im back in city.
Im currently staying in seaside town & Im really missing out on having a commuter here. It's a flat and great in here so I always was keeping an eye for something. This appeared in local ads, over an hour of drive, but the owner was nice enough to pack it up and put it on the bus. He even added a bag of chocolate. What a legend.
The bike is ratty af but i'll try to engage it & not care about it. For a year atleast. That is my rule to myself. It is Team Marin 1992. Catalogue says Tange Ultimate Prestige with Ultrastrong Downtube. It has this interesting rectangular pattern when you touch it, but looks round visually. Tubing title is rather long but Im super excited to ride it.
It's not so far from original, has XTR cranks, almost full XT groupset, poorest wheels ever & questionable modifications made over time. The price I picked it up for is probably worth for the cranks alone..
@Josh I'm dedicating this bike's lifestyle to you. Singlespeed Marin. Yeeee. I have those Magura's in neon yellow, questions is - is it too crazy of a combo. Time will tell haha

Ecopak200/VX21 is great for facing fabrics but the abrassion ressistance is sort of weak. Ultras 200 has abrassion ressistance nearly same as cordura 1000d while being ultralight. But it is 3 times more expensive than ecopak200/xpac21/cordura. I use combonation of ecopak for facing fabrics & cordura 500 for contact points.

@Oddo I should really ride it more but I just love tweak it over and over again. What's interesting is that I most attached to this bike because I made so many modifications. So every ride with it feels so personal. Yeah, I should go out on a ride this weekend haha
@philphillyphilip It actually did more than I imagined. It became more lively & easier to keep the pace, I am really happy with it. The downside is the higher bottom bracket. I do not feels as comfortable cornering this bike as before, I even got a serious injury after upgrade but I wouldn't blame the bike. It's just that you loose agility & can really feel it when you compare it, especially to modern dropped bbs.
