Hello.
I have a bike that I have learned is referred to in contemporary parlance as non-boost?!
It has no wheels.
I have lots of wheels, but none that fit.
I need a 15x100mm front, 12x142 back.
I understand that the size I would like to try is called 27.5 rather than 650b although that means the same thing. I could be convinced by the right 29er.
Perhaps your new bike is boost or even boost+ you lucky thing and now you have some wheels you don’t want.
I might want them.
Hit me up.

@Fishfabs that is a great looking racing bike. If 28c is good enough for the pros it is good enough for mere mortals.

Well, you are digging into the far reaches of the memory here. I think the vx edge was a slightly less complex model and more pure road than this. The VXS and the VXRS had strangely multi profiled down tubes which I remember was pretty unusual in carbon. This one also had some material called vectran in it which was to add flex and take the sting out of the cobbles.

Hello hello
I would like to sell my Time VXS in XL (58) from 2006. The frame module was £3500 from shorter roachford then, which was a lot at the time though in the contemporary market it will buy you a mid range Raleigh e shopper.
It has been in dry storage in Brussels, unridden since I would say 2014 and I have just emptied that storage back to me in London. It was their spring classics bike with a slightly longer wheelbase, more compliant frame and clearance for a whopping 28c tyre.
I managed to get a 30 on the front just now. I think 28 is max on the back.It has mis-matched wheels since I got the dura ace front and gave the matching front to friend to borrow now ten years ago. It needs a tune up as the shifting is currently pretty ghastly but other than that it is rideable.
No idea what to ask.
Is £450 good/bad/indifferent? Any Qs please ask away. -

I would like to sell my Time VXS, I bought it in 2010 rode it as my Sunday best bike for that year and then put it in a lock up for a short temporary move to Belgium. Anyway...life happened...it is years later I'm back in London, I have a kid, a bad knee and a dusty out of date fancy bike I won't ride. It gives me the chills a bit, but is this now worth the same as a low end Boardman hybrid ?
Hi Tim, thanks for this. Let me see if the end caps are readily available. (So that is a boost to non-boost conversion??) I have promised myself that I’m not going to accrue more stuff that needs work, to work. I have a lot of that!
