Just dug out a picture of it as it was in 1996... stayed this way until about 3 weeks ago. The tyres were fitted in early 2000s I think, along with bar tape, and stem, but otherwise unchanged. Never did like that stem but there weren't many available back then that had the removable plate making it easier to change bars. Second picture was taken last year, after a few bits were updated. Other than the tyres and bar tape, still got all the original equipment. Will try to fix the shifters but not holding my breath.

An old thread, but these are old bikes. Here's mine. Commissioned in 1996 and just been reborn (last night) with 2019 Ultegra. It was equipped with 1996 shimano 600 ultegra but the shifters finally gave up. In about 2000 the right hand seat stay cracked just below the seat clamp bolt and m steel/Dave Yates told me to send it back. They fixed it and resprayed it for free. Nice.
