Dynamo question. Took my wheel off to pop bike in car. Got home, plugged the block back onto the wheel as usual, and now it seems to have stopped working.
I've taken the block off, made sure wires are all ok, everything looks fine? Might try clipping the ends off as i have plenty of wire. I've also wiped the hub attachment to make sure its clean etc etc
Anyone come across this before?
It's an SP Dynamo with an IQ-X light. I'm hoping its not the light broken... As far as i can tell the wheels spinning freely, so doesn't feel like powers being drawn.

Made a few changes to my long runner. Ditched the flat bars for some Ritchey 'raised' drops, bar end shifter and put my Surly Nice Rack back on the front for my front panniers (mostly used for shopping rather than touring at the moment!).
Did a 160km ride last weekend and it felt gooood. Getting pretty excited for the 300km Wonderfully Wessex ride in July now!

Yeah I was doing it with the chap with the basket full of bananas.
That's pretty much what we did. Planned to do the full 200, but we spend far too long taking photos and chewing the fat at the second feed stop, that by the time we got to the cut off just after feed 2 we'd missed it by 1/2 hour. In a funny way pretty glad, as that bit after the dam was killer. Not sure I'd have enjoyed it with another 50 miles in the legs.
Will be back next year i think, have to tick off the 200km. Also didn't realise there were so many MTB trails around the castle. When we got back from the 130, we headed up to the observatory and played around on the reds there. Recommended!

@Eamesy Top work. I saw a few fixed riders, guessing you were one of them!
Top event, first year I've done it. Fantastic scenery / route. I thought it was going to be a little bit more of a mixed crowd tbh, didn't see anyone else in a flannel shirt on the route except the fella I was riding with.
Came away with a huge dent on my bike though, took a rock on the down tube.

Hello!
I'm currently running a pair of WTB Byways tubeless on my commuter/do it all. However they are getting savaged by city roads at the moment. Pulling glass out nearly every morning, topping up sealant etc. Getting a bit of a pain.
Can anyone recommend some 650 tyres that will fair me better. About 85% road, 15% bridleway capable, at least some puncture protection. Max size 47mm really due to mudguards. I've tried some maxxis Refuse 2.00's, but they were a little too tight.
Thanks!

There is a noticeable quality improvement on >£100 mudguards, particularly the Honjos. They are absolute works of art production wise. However I find the VO's are absolutely acceptable (and prefer the fit of the VO's, as the Honjos have a much 'deeper' coverage), though do flex a tiny bit more than the honjos.
