it seems good value but they're a fairly bog standard wheel and probably akin to lots of oem alloy wheels that come on new bikes out the box. The freehub body develops play quite quickly as its a bolt on type rather than 3 pawl for example. The LH rear wheel bearings frequently fail on low end Campagnolo/fulcrum wheels that dont have the preload/cup/cone arrangement.

I went to Azerbaijan a couple of months a go, i expected to hear some Arabic/Turkic/Middle Eastern musical vibes but what i didnt expect was it to be so Jazz influenced. I was totally naive, when you read about the former USSR and musical prohibitions.. I was there as Team Mechanic for an International cycling race called 'Dear Susa' - my brief research of the country was centred more around the disputed territory and conflict zone we would be travelling through. Anyhow i'm not a Jazz connosseur but i was drawn into the compositions of pianist Vagif Mustafazadeh, one of his pieces is played on the national Airline whilst boarding etc and is held in highest regard/cultural significance.

So my mums struggled my whole life with ME - 40 years. Doctors (medical profession in general) dont know what to do with ME, half of them treat sufferers like is make believe and the few that care have no resources. She believes that it was caused by the family home being treated for woodworm and having no option but to be in the house immediately after. If were talking damage to the immune system & extreme fatigue levels then yes there are obvious similarities although hers and many stories ive heard of ME sufferers seem to stem from one form or another of poisoning be it chemicals from crop spraying or certain materials used historically in dental fillings etc shes spent so long trying to be understood that far from welcoming the association to long covid shes actually frustrated by it. Whilst i understand what you mean and agree in hoping it leads to research helping both parties, it could potentially belittle an ME sufferer to assume they are similar things.

3 jabbed with the last being in December. I felt a bit rough after a ride on saturday, by the evening my eyes were struggling to focus/deal with sunlight so took a test and came up positive. Sunday i was really bunged up with thick clear snot and by the evening i was burning up with a 40C temp and aches everywhere. By monday the worst of it eased but ive spent much of the time bedridden with waves of nausea if i stood for long - gave up on making food a couple of times in favour of resuming a collapsed state on the sofa. 4 days on my nose has cleared, i dont have much of a cough but still have a bit of a headache and mild nausea. Overall a fairly uncomfortable experience and it probably is the worst flu ive experienced in my 42 years and i can appreciate how severe it could be for some.

i have a similar condition KG231, one issue with stripping is that the carbon tubes are not very resistant to abrasion, it just seemed to me that the helix wound carbon tow is easily sanded into and requires great care, more so than models higher up the range with a twill weave. Complete decal sets dont seem to be available for the model so you're likely going to lose some of the original logos. Id follow mattyc advice but buy pure acetone and use a little at a time on a clean bit of cloth.

one shouldnt try to push pistons with the system closed as it can force the seals and can even damage them. Take the bleed port screw out of the lever under the rubber hood and then lever them out slowly and hopefully you can return some of the fluid in the pistons back to the lever reservoir without spilling it/overflow.

Im not sure if it counts, rather than losing my sense of taste or smell i would say its tainted, I noticed it after the 1st AZ vaccine and it had almost cleared and then i had the 2nd jab, it came on stronger. I cant even fully describe it, several times a day it gets triggered. As for the smell itself its a little like soil thats freshly rained on and highly triggered by cooking oil - if i pass a fast food joint i actually get a waft of it. I feel a bit crazy to say but as its becoming less frequent again i almost feel like its a direct indicator of my level of viral resistance. This could all be nonsense and it could be its triggered some kind of yeast issue.

cant quite make out what you mean maybe you need a long drop caliper or the caliper youve bought is extra long drop and even it the upmost position are hub side of the braking surface?. The off-the-peg raleighs didnt have tight clearances and allow for mudguards and were typically fitted with low grade components like weinmann brakes so fitting a modern caliper can be hit or miss. Also on quite a lot of these frames you have to drill the rear of the fork and rear bridge if you want to use the more modern allen head nuts

I still have a really old tape recorded from the radio, i think it was my first exposure to jungle. School was full of Technics jackets and i started to become aware of friends tickering with music on Amigas, a couple of which did alright out of it.
I remember going to United Dance sometime in the 90s, the 2 main rooms were alternating Hardcore and Jungle all night but it soon became apparent that hardcore was losing favour to the dnb. I went with about 5 mates and we were all well underage and baby faced and it was the beginning of us ruining our lives lighting up, double dropping and eventually burning out. Still i wouldnt change it.
Andy C probably changed everything...maybe not but i just remember the massive shift into darker, fuller sounding production although it has to be said Optical - To Shape the Future remix was probably one of my favorite tunes. I must have gone to every Warning @ the Junction in Cambridge for about 10 years but after a while it started to repeat every year, one month would be Formation, one would be RAM, Bad Company etc. A couple of lads i knew at college went on to become Commix and signed with Metalheadz. Eventually the few good record shops in town struggled to survive and one of my friends (surplus)caused a massive issue by playing a record he had cut after splicing the parts of recordings together in order to get hold of a tune before it was released, only for its author Ray Keith be at the night and go fucking mental with Mampi Swift for backup edit might have been the other way round, around the time of 'Trippin' - that was a night called Breakage and the venue had its own climate, it would get so sweaty it would rain indoors. In the end i feel like the overuse of bass kick build ups/fills and the arrival of Pendulum kind of killed the scene for many of us and i started to realise i was an old dude in the middle of a load of kids and started to tune in more with Techno.

thats a grim reality check one cant really ignore. I suggest that being in the wrong frame of mind will not help people, not meaning lets be jolly and go for drink camaraderie but rather a will to live and healthy mentality goes a long way. I've started to meditate as a means of positive behavior because i have never been so stressed, might be something for people to try. Whilst i find the never ending stream of corona virus based memes on social media fairly poor taste i have found watching comedy/comedians on other subject matters helpful for a short term distraction.

i cant find it now, ive looked at so much online content regarding covid.. the was deffo a link to it from a major news site which mentioned diarrhea, headaches , nausea and a sore throat is some patients. Ive had quite a bad pneumothorax before which took a week of hospitalisation to stabilise and so far im nowhere near to taking little gasps of air. I actually feel like i could jump on a bike and ride ok, my airways seem quite open but my throat is sore as if i had a second lower adams apple - it does sometimes feel like its heading lower. Deffo get waves of headaches on the top of the head and occasional nausea coupled with weakness or a very slight pins & needles sensation.

just want to share my own experience which has made me self isolate.
Ive had a bit of bowel trouble for a few days, bit of a rumble in my digestive system. I also experienced cloudy thought, a lack of concentration and making several errors inputting data on a computer at work over the last couple of days which i put down to anxiety of this whole situation and worrying about elderly parents.
Wednesday eve i came in from work and meant to get changed in to cycling kit and ride out to my workshop- its 9 miles away from home in the middle of nowhere, however, i sat on my bed and promptly passed out for an hour. looking back this should have been a warning sign, i never do that but i put it down to doing overtime every morning for the whole of the month and one shift that was 7am - 9pm building up fatigue.
I've noticed my hands & wrists felt a little numb over the last couple of days which again i put down to working in a cold area both at work and at my workshop. Thursday eve i rode out to my unit without difficulty then came home. Before going to bed i felt a bit flush in the face. had a restless night and heart was beating a bit quick. Friday - felt nausea, sore throat came on hard, told boss i was going to isolate myself at home.
We minimized risk as much as possible at work, our computer stations are spread out and we've all been cleaning surfaces and hands well. i've had very little contact with any other groups of people other than those in my Cycling club/work/home and nobody has presented any symptoms.
I guess the point of this message ive posted is that i'm pretty convinced i have this thing but no point have i coughed or to my knowledge had a high temperature. When i checked it it was slightly under norm - The 2 main symptoms we are supposed to look for. Singapore lists symptoms more in line with what i have experienced. Really not sure if i'm paranoid or being sensible, i'd hope the second but its frustrating as to not know or that a test to show antibodies is some time away. Ive shut myself away as i wait to see if this develops into the glass cough or not.

Ive recently had a frame stripped, i was given it free but the thing was covered in blemishes, small dings etc Columbus tubing, mixture of Max and a couple other tubes fillet brazed. Anyhow previous owner had ridden it in all weather, turbo sweating all over it etc and after 25 years of abuse it was looking rough with some orange pitting visible in places. on advice from a frame builder it was vapor blasted to see if it was worth saving and if any holes appeared.. there were a few pits and a braze on cablestop that was extremely thin as expected . In terms of a comparison with yours...Your tube looks so heavily cleaned up that its not even cylindrical anymore, as if someone persevered to get rid of a pit by sanding at it until a far larger area has cratered because it has become thin. Its very odd which makes me think theres a combination of things going on. The frame wasnt treated or cleaned properly post build and contaminants gave the corrosion a head start. Might have already been thinner than spec with a blasting process pre paint? or that the current paintshop did something too aggressive. - i'm inclined to believe this one. It should have just been acid etched after a lighter blast, dipped or what have you, a little bit of silver/brass filling to any dings and have been perfect.
