Hey folks. I’m currently running a 46t chainring on my gravel/all purpose bike (Santa Cruz Stigmata v3) with a regular width crankset. Official clearance is 42t; it’s tight but so far not been an issue.
I’d like to go bigger since I sold my road bike and ride this bike a lot on flat roads with skinnier tires. The SRAM wide cranks add 2.5mm on either side; anyone here know how many extra teeth that buys me, chainring wise? I prefer not to try hacks with chainring bolt spacers or trying to space out my current drive side crank and spider.
Cheers! -
Hey there. It’s fork and frame size that limit compatibility mostly, but also handlebar width depending on size.
The post carry co website has fairly detailed dimensions I think, you can whip out a yardstick and check your frame’s geo chart to see what might work. I ride L / XL bikes so def won’t work for me. -

I'm considering selling my Post Carry Co. Transfer Case, 150L version. Description here: https://postcarry.co/products/transfer-case?variant=7187645005887
It's in good condition. I've traveled with it quite a bit (equally good for train travel and moving as for air travel) and it shows, a few nicks and scratches here and there. But zips, wheels etc. are all fully functional.
I fly less and less and when I do, I prefer the convenience of other cases. I also want the flexibility to travel with a MTB, for which the transfer case is too small.
I was thinking €200. Let me know if you're interested and I can send pics. -

Three sets of high end SRAM Red cranks for sale.
2x SRAM Red 22 cranks, 175mm length, 110BCD, GXP axle. One has a bit of wear, the other is pretty decent. €125 for the former, €150 for the latter. Prices are for bare cranks, I have a set of Red 50/34 rings in VGC for an extra €50, a Force 50/36 set in good condition for an extra €20, or the Wolf Tooth 46t single ring for €60.
1x SRAM Red AXS cranks, 170mm length, GXP axle, 8-bolt direct mount interface. A little rub on the arms, looks worse on the photos. No chainrings, but comes with the bare spider for 107BCD rings. €200.
I’m located in Amsterdam but will travel to London and Edinburgh November 29-December 1, so could work out a drop off / hand over for buyers in those locations or even post from there. Can post from NL but I have no idea what the duties and taxes would come to. Will happily ship at cost to mainland Europe. -

Selling my Ultimate Disc CF SLX size L. It’s had a chainstay and seatstay “fracture” and been repaired professionally (by the guy who makes Pogacars custom aero bars), then repainted with a custom paint job. Cockpit (canyon H36 130 long 410 wide) and seatpost (Enve 0 offset) have been painted to match. Specs:
- sram red etap 11s, 53/39 strong light chainrings + force 50/34 spares for climbing
- WiFli or regular derailleur (regular takes up to a 11-30 cassette in my experience)
- wheels mfg thread together BB
- Brake calipers updated with new force axs because pads are easier to source; can include the original set if you like
- Despite the recent custom paint job some paint scratches on fork where I had the timing chip and chainstay because of a dropped chain. I can take the frame back to the painter to have these touched up professionally.
- price for frame group set cockpit as described €3400
- Price as above plus hand built Duke Baccara SLS2 65mm rims on DT 240 bubs €4200
- As above plus Garmin edge 530 and favero Assioma dual PM pedals €4800
Open to offers.
Bike is located in Amsterdam so it might be tricky to get it to the UK, but if there’s serious interest I’m sure we can work something out.

Selling a set of flat mount Klampers in black.
Conditions - see photos. Cosmetic 8/10, function 9/10 (replaced one of the barrel adjusters, works fine).
Fixed price of €200,-
I’m based in Amsterdam so getting these to the UK is a bit tricky. I may be able to have friends bring them over to London tomorrow (Wednesday Nov 10) or in early December. If you’re elsewhere in mainland Europe (or Ireland) I can post. Payment via PayPal only.

Thanks both
I do race, and I want to try and sit more in the middle of the cassette to preserve my drivetrain, hence going to a bigger ring
Of course moving the ring outboard a touch makes for less ideal chain line but I believe that's mostly an issue in the easiest few cogs where I don't spend much time (no flex; it's just that I ride in the Netherlands predominantly)
